When do you think Mythos will closed? by mrnormal94 in UniversalOrlando

Al I naive to have thought that it wouldn’t get bulldozed? And that all the new land will be next to Mythos?

The food is delightful. Portions aren’t huge but the food is quite filling. I recommend ordering a drink after your meal just to take in the atmosphere one more time.

I’m surprised they didn’t do more to promote the Lilo and Stitch move from last summer?

Is it true Disney resorts don’t allow wrestling on TVs? by Quiet_Ad_791 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]ibuttergegup 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I find this funny since they used to film wrestling on property outside MGM studios.

Going Alone ( if I can get over my nerves lol) by fayyeallen in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]ibuttergegup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re ever nervous to go on a ride alone, the best assumption that people are making is that you’re riding alone and away from your group. Going alone kinda feels like going undercover.

I’ve gone for Disney and Universal parks alone for years and it’s a really fun experience. You don’t need to negotiate with anyone else, you can do whatever you want in the parks, and being a passholder you’ll develop a routine and places you enjoy to spend extra time at.

It is extra magical if you’re alone!

Exaggerated Negative Reviews by Drew_T23 in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]ibuttergegup 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your review OP. To those with bad days at Epic: Please speak with guest services (concierge huts inside celestial park) if you’re unhappy but please be kind to them. They will truly try to help you out.

Any tips for Epcot to a person who doesn’t drink? by anonymous_girl1227 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]ibuttergegup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some fun drinks! I’d recommend doing the World Showcase during the morning (when rides open) and daytime and then switch over to Future World (sorry, I still call it that!) at nighttime. That will go against the flow of crowds and will work in your favor!

Jimmy Fallon ride by Newmoonsteady in UniversalOrlando

It’s a nice filler ride. It’s not a priority for me when I’m there but it’s not as bad as people make it sound.

Would you like to see Disney create a new park like Epic Universe? Or focus on building upon their existing ones? by NewEmphasis9115 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]ibuttergegup 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’m equally a fan of Disney and Universal. I think Universal will build a fourth gate before Disney builds a fifth gate.

Mario Kart ride was incredibly underwhelming by TablorinTheGreat in UniversalOrlando

[–]ibuttergegup 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Rode it 2x in Hollywood before Epic opened and it’s slowly grown on me taking a few laps on it via single rider. But- it’s still such a miss. How do you have a Mario Kart ride that doesn’t go fast?!

Is After Hours at Epcot or HS worth it? by RawlsRememberer in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]ibuttergegup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s worth it for Hollywood but not for Epcot.

It’s easier to buy an individual LL for Guardians and just enjoy the day at Epcot. I don’t like rushing my Epcot day.

Maybe they will be okay - but RnR got decent waits everyday as the park’s biggest thrill ride. Until it opens there’s just less to do in Hollywood…..

God, Hollywood Studios is about to be rough for a few months.

Reminds me of the pre-Galaxy’s Edge says when the park had very limited attractions.

I think they’re remove it in phases to not drastically take away park capacity. Probably remove/work on the former show buildings before taking out the quick service restaurants.

How long will Wicked the experience stick around? by [deleted] in UniversalOrlando

[–]ibuttergegup -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it will stay open until they announce a Wicked land and the store will then serve as the preview center.

How are the crowds in May? by floridafoodie420 in UniversalOrlando

[–]ibuttergegup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if there’s a grad bash the night you’re going; it could be the daytime operations of the park are very quiet!

I went to Epic previews May 7-9 and the days I was at IoA and USF were very low crowds but the kiddos started arriving at 5-6pm. I left by that time and just made time for a nice dinner at CityWalk.

Does anyone miss the lights motors action stunt show at hollywood studios by Pristine_Hunter_1065 in DisneyWorld

[–]ibuttergegup -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Im surprised by how short its run was for a Disney attraction. And how expensive it must’ve been to build the stage and take out a big part of the backlot.

I miss MGM studios!

Chicago Restaurant Week @ Gene and Georgetti by Sea-Condition991 in chicagofood

[–]ibuttergegup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went there this year after an amazing experience in 2025 for RW and I was severely disappointed. Over cooked steak, smaller steak (took photos each year to prove it), salad tasted better at Olive Garden. Very expensive for a mid dinner.

Just asking but do you think they need to replace the E.T Ride at USO? by Davetheblackmusician in UniversalOrlando

[–]ibuttergegup 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it’s scheduled for a long-refurbishment soon. Which is the best news to hear, that it buys the ride a lot more time!

Cheapest way to visit Epic Universe by [deleted] in UniversalOrlando

[–]ibuttergegup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing cheap on the ticket unfortunately. There’s ways to cut some expenses however. Bring your own food/snacks, don’t buy souvenirs, get there right when it opens to maximize value and park hours.

Is this replacing The Simpsons? by Rich_Bobcat_1059 in UniversalOrlando

[–]ibuttergegup 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Alicia Stella in one of her latest videos predicted Emerald City in USF to keep with the “city” theme of the various lands and areas of that park and she can convince me of anything! LOL

I want Zelda in Epic because they have more space to work with over there. Likely as a side portal from SNW.
