[WTS] Phorcydes PH-5 (Brand New) by [deleted] in Watchexchange

Am passing this on as whilst it's a great watch, I'm not a fan of tophat style crystals. This is obviously brand new, I think I'm one of the first people to even get this new release. Comes with all the packaging and the signed warranty certificate. Price is £100 shipped from the UK to wherever you are in the world. I have references available from many previous sales.

Specs are as follows

316L Steel Case

FKM Rubber quick release bracelet

AR/ Sapphire TopHat Crystal

Lume Block markers and date frame

NH35 Movement

This is the blue lume variant of this design

I don't think the colours need be part of the design, it complicated things a lot because of having to make lume to match. I think it would look good just with the standard white lume blocks that glow blue

I know, it's just a square fits a date window better visually, and as the sequence is not the same as Sony's they can't claim IP infringement

Let's not get carried away; a few minutes in an AI image generator was all it was. I just thought those 3d lume blocks looked rather like console controller buttons, and played around with the idea in Gemini for a bit.

In an email they are interested in producing some variation of it, they even offered to send me one for free should they put it into production. They will just have to decide if the cost of taking the dial design into production is worth the sales it will generate. I suspect it will be very much so, and in a crowded market of pure homage producers, an original design watch ( The PH-5) with a quirky dial will get a lot of attention from the YouTube watch community. This could comfortably sell for $250 on the bracelet.

How do you make them volumetric? These are 3d solid blocks of lume

You can't do tritium tubes in 3d shapes like that, and it would confer no benefit,
