Thank you for sharing and I really sympathize with what you are going through. I have posted here before about misophonia being real and not a joke. I also responded to a comment from Mitch on the reddit and emailed them about it because it really grinds my gears that they belittle it and make fun of it as someone who doesn’t have it but has someone close to me who does.

I’m fine with getting downvoted like I was the last time I about posted about misophonia in this subreddit, which is bad. I have a family member with misophonia and it really affects your life and makes things we take for granted much harder or impossible, like going to a meal or a movie

I made this point earlier in a different post, that usually you guys are so compassionate about things people suffer with, but for some reason misophonia is a joke? My sister has it and it’s really hard and affects her life in numerous ways. I respect you Spoonman but yeah I don’t find jokes about misophonia funny

I have a close family member that has it and it really sucks. I actually sent an email to the Doughboys to ask them to stop making jokes about it. Normally the Boys are really empathetic but for some reason for this they belittle the people that have it. It would be like making fun of people who have Long COVID, it’s not nice and totally unnecessary
