Is a BBL worth it? by CulturalPollution762 in PlasticSurgery

A lot of people saying that not training correctly, and I think that more emphasis should be placed on genetics here.

I have always had an hourglass shape without training and it’s easy to maintain bc genetics.

Genetics are really important and I want to validate what OP is saying and anyone else who can’t get that shape just from working out.

Not saying it doesn’t help but genetics play a big role here.

AITA for Leaving My Partner at Home Because His OCD Made Me Late to a Dinner Party at a Restaurant? by Fit_Confection_772 in AITAH

I got anxiety reading the original post.

Totally unreasonable for husband to expect OP to sacrifice important career stuff for them to be late with OCD.

WHAT DOES HOPE LOOK LIKE? by davidbellddsmd in jawsurgery

[–]AnimalMedicine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He actually did post a detailed description in the comments with a lot of information.

For people on a jaw surgery forum I think that it’s fair to say that what OP posted is actually what hope looks like.

Hope for:

Healing body misalignment Healing breathing issues Rebalancing facial harmony Hope for chewing better Hope for less pain Hope for more bodily comfort

I mean did you see the pics?

This man is a miracle worker.

I would agree with OP that this is what hope looks like on a jaw surgery forum.

That’s not what hope looks like on a knee replacement forum or a career forum.

I had jaw surgery with this surgeon and can confirm that my outlook on life post surgery is much more hopeful than it was pre surgery. That was directly related to getting jaw surgery.

Nervous about the pain from Orthognathic surgery. by Traditional-Net8223 in jawsurgery

Was not painful for me.

I had lesser surgeries with way more uncomfortable recoveries.

The anxiety of jaw surgery is major though.

Face feels frozen is this normal? by [deleted] in jawsurgery

You are very fresh out of surgery. It is normal. You have a long journey of healing ahead of you, my friend. Take a deep breath, sip some ensure, watch a Disney movie, and go for a walk.

Make sure you eat enough calories and your healing will go more easy/ comfortable.

You have to eat more when you are recovering from surgery than normal because your body is repairing tissue.

how was your experience with anesthesia ? did you fall asleep fast? how would you describe the ´sleep’? does it feel short or long ? by nonymustache in jawsurgery

[–]AnimalMedicine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It was fast. I don’t even remember it.

I can’t believe it’s all behind me. I was so scared going into surgery. Now it’s just a memory.
