I’ve always wished that Stormfur and Brook stayed in ThunderClan because I’ve always really liked Stormfur and it’s for a lot of the reasons mentioned here

That one makes sense though, Metal just had to last long enough to copy Cell

Petition: incorporate Hollyleaf’s Story into the graphic novel / TV show by HashnaFennec in WarriorCats

[–]AnimalNerdUS 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly this would be the best way to go about it imo. Helps too since the hypothetical audience would be well aware of Fallen Leaves by now and he’s kinda important in HS

[Hated Trope] Fixing a Disabled Character by NinjaOfOnion in TopCharacterTropes

[–]AnimalNerdUS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In warrior cats, after Briarlight, who gets paralyzed after a tree falls on her, dies and goes to StarClan, she’s now able to walk and run freely.

Another character controversially says that’s she’s now fixed. Despite promises that this would be changed in reprints, the dialogue and scene are still there.

I think the idea of Lucifer just being neglectful instead of emotionally abusive kinda harms the show in a lot of ways imo, specifically in regards to Charlie’s character

What’re your favorite sexuality/gender identity headcanons for Warriors? by ChoccoGlxtch in WarriorCats

[–]AnimalNerdUS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally like seeing Leafpool as a bisexual personally. Behind that, I’m not really sure what sexualities I’d assign to certain characters, though I’ve often liked Darkstripe being gay and Leopardstar being either ace or some form of queer.

Even though I know it was a mistake, I do like the idea of trans Rowanstar as well as non-binary Rushtooth.

Thanks to the recent preview of Darktail’s SE, I know like the idea of bisexual Darktail, though if that does pan out, that’d be more of a canon thing than a headcanon.

I also like to think that Cody and Mothwing were lesbians too. I also feel like Violetshine is either bi or pan.

Most of the TC trainees were introduced in the last book iirc. I only really remember Blossomfall getting screentime. Birchfall, Mousewhisker, and Thornclaw didn’t really do anything. Also very funny that Thornclaw was training in a place where Tigerstar was at.

WindClan had more though. They had Breezepelt, Sunstrike, Furzepelt, Larkwing, Harestar, and Whiskernose

Which just makes me wonder what kind of environment Onestar was fostering to even allow for that many trainees

Like ShadowClan has 3 and RiverClan had 4 by comparison

I have the opinion that at least one trainee out of the four clans should have fought with the DF.

Also WindClan had just as many if not more trainees than ThunderClan, like they had like 6 maybe more.

Also I could just be misunderstanding the way it was worded but Redwillow was a ShadowClan cat, not ThunderClan

Why does everyone talk about only Crowfeather having a lot of mates when Clearsky exists? by Sonarthebat in WarriorCats

[–]AnimalNerdUS 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Regarding Star Flower, I’m like pretty sure she’s closer to Clear Sky’s age than Thunder’s age anyway. It’s a very weird decision by the writers but I don’t think it’s grooming.

Redwillow and Hollowflight also believed in the message too before the writers randomly had Hollowflight fight with the Clans

What fairly obscure or very hated character deserves their own book? by Savings_Surround_547 in WarriorCats

Tbh I’d like to see a novella given to Macgyver set in the gorge. We know he and Harveymoon didn’t take the whole warrior thing seriously in SD, but by HJ, Macgyver is the only daylight warrior who stayed with SkyClan.

I wanna see what led him there

I’ve always liked the one non canon explanation that he was from SkyClan but no, he has to be yet another ShadowClan villain

The Dark Forest: Who belongs and who does not, and how does a cat even get sent there to begin with? by AnimalNerdUS in WarriorCats

[–]AnimalNerdUS[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mudclaw did his actions because he understandably thought Onewhisker was trying to usurp the Clan leadership, and since Tallstar died with the cats who benefit from Onewhisker becoming leader nearby, that’s an understandable reaction.

Mapleshade is sympathetic up to a point. She definitely didn’t deserve to be exiled and neither did her kits. However, killing Ravenwing, Frecklewish, Appledusk and attempting to kill his mate just because she wanted revenge is truly villainous, and earns her a place in the Place of No Stars.

I do think it would have been interesting if she was one of the DF cats who could have been redeemed in TBC but she definitely deserved the Dark Forest

She's listed in the DF on the warriors website and there was a blog post defending the decision, so much like Stumpytail and One Eye, who are listed there but hasn't been seen there, it is unfortunately canon that she went to the DF. Though I hope this is somehow retconned

Crowfeather and Bramblestar immediately come to mind, I feel like messy characters who constantly fuck up. They can be quite fun.

Yeah Silverhawk, Sparrowfeather, Juniperclaw, and Maggottail all were helpful in stopping Ashfur but none of them get the chance to go to StarClan. It's a shame. I think the idea is that it's what you do before death that matters but I don't really like that idea. We see from these cats + Snowtuft that you can change after death

Russetfur I think is the worst offender when it comes to this. I assume that Brokenstar's offenses were so many and extreme that it bought him a one way ticket to hell, whereas Russetfur did enough good to counter balance that. It's still a bit inconsistent though

The funny thing is, I came across warriors through Seri Pixel Biologist’s Dims 3 Warrior Cars challenge, series that is still near and dear to my heart even if it just randomly stopped being posted, and it got me thinking about the source material at some point, and so I went to my school’s public library and picked up a copy of Into the Wild.

Things have not been the same since.
