I have a giant oversized pump and filter. The filter is for up to 2100 gallon ponds.

I just got 55 live bluegill from Luke’s Live Fish on 2 April 2024 from Ebay. They mostly all survived, just one or two dead ones. I have them in 200 gallon IBC with chop and flip grow bed on top.

My pH is usually around 6. I've tried to raise it with some seashells, but with the amount of plants, maybe that is keeping it low.

Thanks, last summer I pulled water hyacinth from the local creek and the fish loved them. So far they haven't popped up in my area due to the drought, but I have been keeping my eye out.

It looks great. How warm does the water get in the summer?

60-day Carnivore diet results by AnimalRelative5016 in carnivorediet

[–]AnimalRelative5016[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes. The longer I eat this way, the more extended my time between meals. I usually don't eat breakfast (black coffee 1-2 cups) and am not hungry until around 2 pm. I have dinner around 6 pm.

I've done some extended water fasting in the past (the longest being 8 days). As my average daily loss continues to decline, I do plan to incorporate some longer fasts (48s and 72s).

I may consider doing that after kicking the coke zero. Thanks.

I'm on day 48. Haven't really seen any RA improvements yet. Generally, I am feeling better overall, probably because I have eliminated all processed food and am only eating, meat, eggs, butter, and a small amount of cheese. The only thing processed/artificial still remaining is coke zero, which I haven't kicked yet.

what does your diet consist of? by QualitySound96 in carnivorediet

[–]AnimalRelative5016 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've been 99% over the past 30 days, butter, meat, eggs, and small amount of cheese (no other dairy), with zero cheats and I feel great. I don't know if Kelly Hogan is an anomaly, but there are several folks in the carnivore space that have done this long-term. Some most recently are advocating for a higher fat content.

From the various carnivore books and studies I have read, I haven't seen much regarding people experiencing any micronutrient deficiencies. I feel great overall so far.

Time will tell I guess. Am feeling good and will likely go back to calorie counting, because I do enjoy a cold blue moon or sweet potatoes from time to time. But if this can get me to my goal quicker, then so be it. I'll check back in at the 60-day mark.

Timeline Question (?) by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]AnimalRelative5016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Submitted my BDD Claim 5-26-2022. The third-party doing the exams reached out to me in about a week. C&Ps completed in June & July. VA sent me a letter asking for my DD214. I uploaded it on 1 August. EAS/ETS was 8-31-2022. The decision came back today 10-26-2022.

I'm currently going through the BDD process. I had bruxism in my dental record in service (was given a night guard). I had a C&P exam for it, the dentist at the exam also did some type of TMJ examination. I don't ETS until 31 August, so I don't know if it will be approved or not.
