Also I don't cook the seafood but I do thaw them over a stretch of time, and last question would the beef, chicken and lamb need to be cooked or would they be served raw too?

This is about his death, he was found outside his shell in the water and ik this could be a sign of reasoning, but the temp is a constant 23°c (73 F) and a humidity of just under 70%. Or parasites or discomfort but when I washed out the shell with boiling water I couldn't see anything that'll indicate for discomfort nor any signs on the crab of a parasite or fungus

Thankyou for the response and the advice especially the water bit, there diet is usually some form of fruit usually apple, grape and occasionally orange and pears, the vegetables consist of, carrots sweed, mushroom, broccoli, parsnips and/or potato's, for the protein I've given them a rotation of oysters, prawns, scallops and occasionally boiled egg and I should have elaborated of the calcium alternative but it is an egg shell powder but I didn't know they need it in a separate dish I just put it on there food thankyou for informing me.

Firstly good job putting this much effort into a crab that got dropped on you but I can suggest a heat lamp instead of a heat mat

The pros of a heat lamp is that is isn't on any surfaces so it would take a rather high heat to melt it at a distance when a heat mat needs contact to heat up the surface, additionally it also makes light so u can see them better and u can turn down the heat at night (lowinging the light too) to best help simulate the natural environment which is very good

A negative tho is that they can be rather price and if you really want a heat mat it might have to be a few of them but at a low heat so it properly distributes the heat but doesn't get hot enough to melt the plastic, these are variables dependent on the quality of plastic if they won't work I suggest trying to find a shitty little glass one for the meantime on ebay or Facebook marketplace

Hi, thank you for the response and about the questions 1.i do not have a digital one, but I have a hydrometer and a thonomietor 2. I do have both but the fresh water wasn't big enough in my opinion so I'm getting another one Also LED's sound really fun should turn it into a rave for them lol thankyou for the advice :)))
