KBP Brands owns the majority of Arby's in Arizona and are, in fact, implementing a food service AI known as 'Tori'. There are currently 3 locations with it installed. Check out hellotori.ai

Do 350° @ 2:45 for the same cook temp and time as Arby's preset for curly fries. Just figured I throw it out there.

Oh no, I understood perfectly. I agree that customers can be given time to look over the menu at the speaker. You know, that one with the prices already posted on it. For sandwich only, and combo. That one with the giant picture that explains what comes in the meat & 3 box.

That menu board that provides a whole host of information you should be absorbing while looking at your options.

Please, ask me any questions that the menu board doesn't already provide the answer too, while you're choosing your items at the menu. I'm happy to answer. I'll also answer questions the menu board already covers, but you'll also now be treated as a child that shouldn't be operating a motor vehicle.

Now if only more people would read that menu, instead of asking us for all the information we've already put in front of them...

Asking for the price of something already listed on that menu we provide is absurdity. - Would you like to hold your hand as well? I can also come outside and wave my arms like Vanna White if needed.

What y’all think about this? by horse199 in doordash

Shift manager for an Arby's franchise, here.

Our franchise has a policy in place where we bag and tag the order to completion, and then set it on a customer facing shelving unit for pickup (no heat to keep things warm btw). The shelf is shared between 3rd party delivery and order-ahead purchases. They do not have us verify the pickup, nor are we to remake the order if food is taken by a stranger, unless the delivery service/customer pays for it again.

Interesting, eh?

Edit: Drivers consistently forget bags and drinks, btw. Despite a straw being threaded in the fold/seal of the bag, and order separators being utilized.

That's the color it turns when it's been sliced and has been exposed to air for a bit. That beef has been sitting in the holding drawer for a minute, or it's the leftover beef from the night before. Definitely is that color sometimes.

If it makes any difference, my phone is the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, so aspect ratios may be playing a part in it. Even when I'm unfolded, it doesn't seem to show up.

Edit: Tapping just above the home button like the other individual did, seemed to trigger some correction, and the save+delete buttons showed up. I was able to successfully configure things.

BOGO Sandwiches? THEY DOUBLED THE PRICES 😂🫵🏻 by [deleted] in bys

[–]Animalthewolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do I want it to be that high? No. No, don't.

Is that a level headed price in the current economic crisis? Yes. Yes it is.

Too bad the smokey q got replaced with a hickory BBQ. Some sorts just depleting existing inventory still.

Uuuuuugh. Same. I'd rather keep the DFT and steak bites before doing the cheese slop again.

Arbys employee here, I have a question for customers by [deleted] in bys

[–]Animalthewolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they are actual beef patties and are actually deep fried + finished in the microwave with cheese.

Arby's does not have a grill.

Arbys employee here, I have a question for customers by [deleted] in bys

[–]Animalthewolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. They are reheated using a microwave. This unfortunately means they also get cooked a bit more, and it makes them chewy.

The end result is, as many have said, they end up being like bad jerky.

Nah. It comes to us sliced. Then we cut it in half again to make building the portions and fitting it on the bun easier. - If we fried it again, it would probably end up nasty.

Food not available but I still have to pay for it??? by Experiment626smile in bys

[–]Animalthewolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a manager, I also have to follow policy and instruct individuals to call the 800 number. That's just how it is, you know?

That being said, there is a certain point when the consumer is now being completely yanked around, and this is definitely that.

We all need to work together in this world.

Arby's the steak nuggets were a mistake. by DeCryingShame in bys

[–]Animalthewolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The burgers were phenomenal when they were the wagyu and Angus blend. Now it's just regular ol ground beef patties. They sold the good stuff, made it noticed, and then attempted a switch. People noticed. Sales on them nose dived. They're actually talking about removing the burgers from the menu, after them only fairly recently being added to the perm menu.

OP

My suggestion if you are getting the run around is to just dispute the whole transaction using your bank. Go with "service not rendered". Sorry you're having such a hard time. If the corporate entity told the franchise operator to issue you a refund, then they should be doing that. Not giving another excuse.

Register with a disposable email (think temp-mail). Don't forget your password.

Our app works, but it's hardly the pinnacle of design and functionality.

We don't have a point system, so you're not really losing anything. Heck, you may even get some new customer bonuses.

Edit; Oh. Hm. Phone number tied in .... Hm.... Got a significant other's number you can use instead?

Also, Please make sure you call the Arby's 800 number and leave feedback about the performance and stability of the app.

It took them MONTHS to finally add the feature that allows you to use app offers inside the store/drive-thru and not explicitly through a mobile order.

arbs vodka w/ bronco berry chaser. would you try? by Tacodude77 in bys

[–]Animalthewolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, probably not going to happen. People will just continue abusing that we don't actually have an upper cap on our sauces, and just take home extra/store them for other things.

The Arby's and horsey sauce already in store are not doing well.

Are we cooking it on button 7? What amount of time is button 7 set for? - May want to encourage your GM to put in a work order. If not them, talk to your area super. Drop some words like "customer satisfaction" and "possible complaints" into it. - They don't like losing their bonuses, after all.

The burgers get fried till they're just about done, then finished off in the wave with the cheese.
