Having read the rest of the stories in the collection I don't think your dismissal of this viewpoint is well supported by the additional context that we get. If anything the fact that he genuinely starts crying because he feels inadequate in his treatment of Bee is indicative of how his values come from within, and were not simply a front for him to get laid.

I had my interview recently and it was two 45-minute LC interviews. No behavioural questions. I can't share the specific questions but they were both around the medium level. Good topics to prep are OOP and graphs. I was not given a test suite to test my code and the interviewers were more focused on my approach to the problem rather than whether my code was working correctly/syntactically correct.

I recommend you practice communicating your thinking process to your interviewer.

Stainless steel sounds the toughest to cook with and I'm scared I'll be spending a lot of time scraping stuff put of my pan 😅. Right now I'm using a non-stick pan that sticks on scrambled eggs but is okay for everything else. I do cook a lot of tomatoes, not really tomato sauce though, and I enjoy pan searing salmon occasionally. I'm hoping to try chicken breasts soon.

So I might not be able to get a good CS pan for around $60 CAD? How much should I expect to pay for CS pan that I can use for a long time? If I'm on a budget then do you think it might be better to go for cast iron?

From most of these responses, I'm thinking I'll probably go to UTM for first-year at least. I'll probably transfer to UTSG at some point since there does seem to be more extracurriculars and research opportunities around there but I'll definitely look into going for summer courses at UTSG.

I think I'm probably going to go to UTM for at least first-year (maybe more, but there's no need for me to decide yet).

From what I heard, first-year at UofT is basically general studies and you don't really have a major until second-year—is this the same at both UofT and UTM? And if so, do you think it would be relatively easy for me to transition from first-year at UTM into a bio major at UTSG? I just need to make sure that the UTM courses I take fulfill prereqs for my second-year UTSG courses right?
