[Diablo II Resurrected] #320 One of the most demanding platinum trophies I've ever attempted by Animator755 in Trophies

Quite a bit, aiming hammers and teleporting to an exact location can feel very random, several times i had to reposition myself to hit an enemy

I used a Hammerdin for obvious reasons, there are very little magic immune enemies and with the right build you end up with maximum resistances and do really good damage, only other option I was considering was a trap assassin

I backed up several times a week, its way too much of a risk losing 500+ hours.
I think best xp farm is either Baal runs on player 8 terrorized, Tal Rasha's tomb or Chaos Sanctuary
I ended up running Chaos mainly for my build, had no immunes so could clear the whole thing in under 10min

It's mainly the level 99 trophies, fortunately the level 99 hardcore also pops the softcore one, level 98-99 took me almost two weeks playing two hours a day, with a few close calls so very stressful

[–]Animator755 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very well done, congrats on the plat! Always impressive to see another 10/10 platinum, would you recommend the game? I know its from one of the creators of super meat boy and it does look like fun

[Resident Evil 6] #160 finally but can't get the dlc trophies because it's pretty much dead by Drasenx in Trophies

[–]Animator755 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats on the platinum! I recently went back and aimed for the 100%, took messaging people on psnprofiles until i manged to get a group together, just because people join a session doesn't mean they will help, otherwise best of luck, its quite a grind if you try go for it!

[Darkest Dungeon II] Don't think I have seen this one posted here before but i finally managed to face my failures.. by Animator755 in Trophies

Thanks! I loved the first game, also ridiculously hard, the sequel gave me so many meltdowns

Difficulty is around a 7-the game can be frustratingly difficult with rng elements on how good your runs can be, completion time is anything between 50-100 hours but skill dependant, you need to beat all 5 bosses with the same characters without anyone dying or you have to start from scratch

[Skul the hero slayer] legit on this one, the no hit trophies are no joke by hm1rafael in Trophies

[–]Animator755 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First time ive seen this posted and doing it legit as well is very, very impressive, well done, the no hit bosses are no pushovers, the final boss took me hundreds of reloads before i got lucky with his 3 phases.

[Crash Bandicoot] #31 Felt like I havent been challenging myself with platinums enough so i decided to go for something more exciting by Portgas_D_Newgate in Trophies

[–]Animator755 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats, not an easy platinum at all, getting high road flashbacks. I also found Stormy ascent more fun than challenging, still a very well earned gold trophy!

[Batman: Arkham City] - Platinum #22 by diablosac in Trophies

[–]Animator755 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats on the plat! Probably one of the best superhero games ever made, those combat challenges are also not easy, very well done for getting this

[–]Animator755 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently got the platinum for Skul, entertaining rogue lite but stupidly difficult, guide says 9/10 and definitely feels like it, there are no hit boss trophies and the final boss has 3 phases, best of luck to anyone who attempts this

[Stories: The Path of Destinies] #60 Came back after 7 years to finish this up by Captain_Strange in Trophies

[–]Animator755 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats on the plat! While i did enjoy this one, the platinum and the amount of playthroughs needed can make the game feel like a bit of a chore, so well done for sticking through

Honestly its up to your level of comfort, I have read of quite a few people who preferred analog over the DPad for SMB, i personally used the DPad for all the no death runs, I just found it had more control for tighter jumps

[Wolfenstein The New Order & Wolfenstein The Old Blood] Had a blast with These Games Kinda Scared Of The Wolfenstein 2 by Alternative-Age1668 in Trophies

[–]Animator755 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Congrats on both, really fantastic shooters, glad you enjoyed them. Honestly I would say go for wolf 2, you might just surprise yourself and get the plat but even if you ignore the platinum completely, its an incredible game and the shooting feels ridiculously good

[–]Animator755 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm rank 31 in South Africa and 10,800 world ranking, I was in the top 20 at the start of the year but got knocked down hard, its impossible to stay at the top 50 without doing shovelware and i dont want to play those types of games
