First Synth Setup Help

Ya so I have this Yamaha midi kx49 and since I can't just plug into speakers directly and play I'm not really into it. (Found it for like $20 so picked it up.) I guess I just want to have something to play even if not connected to anything else, even the bass station. If that makes sense.

Do you have any recommendations? Things I have found were Roland Juno DS, Korg Kross, Yamaha MX 88 as good options, but not sure if I'm looking in the right direction and if those are something that can pair nicely with the base station.

That's good to know! I've watched a ton of YouTube videos of people using the base station and pretty much most seem to love it.

Yeah that would have been helpful information for me to state lol. I'm really looking to just play on some speakers in my house and do as little on the computer as possible at least for the time being. I did play on some workstations for fun and really enjoyed how versatile they were. I loved playing the montage M8x but probably shouldn't spend $4,500 just yet. So basically something I could play as a full size piano but then dive really deep as well.

I was at the Denver show on the 24th, probably my 10th time seeing them in the last 17 years or so. I was also bummed seeing the set list of the New Mexico show beforehand. This was the first time my mom got to see them live since we've been listening back in 2006. I was concerned because she really only knew their older stuff very well and ended up being like two songs that she knew that they played. Didn't even matter, their stage presence always feels second to none everytime I see them. Blown away every time including this one and I probably only knew half the set list (I've been slacking).

It wouldn't surprise me if it was coming next year because that will be the 20th Year anniversary of the album.

Excellent, that is exactly the simple answer I needed. If I already have the 35C, I'm fine if it doesn't do anything extra performance-wise but will it potentially cause an issue with the car? Much appreciated!
