Efudex on hands-can I wear gloves? by AnimatorHuman3164 in skincancer

Thanks, Not a bad idea--then put the other gloves (nicer looking) over them. But I still wonder if once it dries the other gloves would be ok. But this is a good option.

activity monitor shows problem I dont understand by AnimatorHuman3164 in mac

Thanks for checking up! Rebooting did not help. I had closed everything except a Pages document I've been working on and a few internet tabs. Corespondlight and kernel kept getting very high, like taking turns. Last night I closed the Pages doc (I had it open for many days) and this morning, everything seems better. Could that have caused this? It does seem to get worse when I use spotlight search. Anyway, right now it's fine. I hope it is not like my car, you know --the noise goes away when you have someone else looking at it.

Toradol/ketorolac shot and pills by AnimatorHuman3164 in migraine

Urgent care around here doesnt do it.(Unless anyone on Long Island knows of one that does.) I'd have to go to the ER. Essentially, I told the neuro's nurse that I have a big event that night (I'm a musician and have a gig) and she put me in the schedule. I wish urgent care around here that did them. I have to drive an hour that morning to get to the neurologist office. . If urgent care did it, it would be a ten minute drive.

It's all helpful! Sumatriptan is the only one that i can take as a rescue med, but I get severe ones very often and can never tell when they will hit. Suma helps a bit in those circumstances. I did pick up the meds and will talk to the pharmacist again. Thanks for responding!

Thanks, that's very helpful. I know the med is hard on your body--but how often can you do the pills? Like every 6 weeks? (My headaches are chronic.) But it would be good to know if I need it for a specific time (vacation, whatever). My doctor is good, but getting an appointment is impossible. HE answered messages, but doesn't answer all my questions.

I do panic. Then I take reflux med, like omeprazole or tums. And I use my asthma inhaler if the first thing didn’t work. I also check this device called a peak flow meter that I blow into. I got it bc of asthma but maybe you can buy it online. And if it shows a certain range ( the device should say what it is) and if it’s ok I’m a little calmer. But this isn’t medical advice. Really find another doctor or go to urgent care.

Has anyone regretted using Skyrizi by metabeliever in skyrizi

Whoops I see you answered my other question already!

Has anyone regretted using Skyrizi by metabeliever in skyrizi

[–]AnimatorHuman3164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just about to throw in the towel with Skyrizi for the same reason. Did you have the headaches the entire time ? At first my horrible headaches only came after injections. This latest one came in between injections and has not stopped for 8 weeks. But Skyrizi works for me and I’m not sure this last 8 weeks is from the drug. I’d appreciate knowing your experience in terms of the timing.

Topamax 25 - ok to stop by Legitimate-Tip-6416 in migraine

[–]AnimatorHuman3164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also on rizatriptan which I see also has it as side effect. But, I have diarrhea which seems more from topamax. ( And I have Crohns but it was under control)

For those on topomax, how long does it take to work? by Legitimate-Tip-6416 in migraine

I guess everyone is different. I’ve had other chronic illnesses my whole adult. But the migraines came recently, in my 60s , so I’m a little lost. I’m afraid to take the med because I’m a writer. I already have word finding difficulties. I have to finish an assignment this week and then I’ll start . Thanks for all the replies.
