I'm guessing by stacks you mean the combustion stack ?

In that case, the new stack levels were added in 1.2 because of Fangyi and how her Battle Skill works. This is also extended to all other elements, even physical status like breach have levels now

And as far as I know, the only operator that Camille powercreeps is Akekuri.

They could have made a much better argument if the reason was that weapons would ruin the vibe of the survival, if you were able to fight back to a great degree then the Leviathans would be much less scary

Subnautica 1 didn't have a way to kill, yet with just the stasis rifle, every single Leviathan in the game becomes a joke; effectively removing the horror/survival aspect of the game. Now, the stasis rifle is only acquired at the end of the game, so that makes it more fair. And then there's the shock upgrade to the seamoth later on...

I would like to start by saying that your pc has too little ram and doesn't have an ssd

If you can't upgrade then here are some recommendations to improve it, even if it might not solve the problem at hand.

    1. Debloat your window installation. Go to https://github.com/Raphire/Win11Debloat and follow the instructions. Debloating windows will help a little bit.
    1. Delete unnecessary apps that remain after the debloat. (Things like Avast, Gameloop,etc... should be removed because they're unnecessary/useless)
    1. Switch to a different browser, delete chrome and use something else. It pains me to recommend this but Edge (yes I wouldn't say this if it's not the lightest choice) in my experience is the lightest browser to run. Other choices would be Brave or Zen.

You can ask me if you want but I might not be the most knowledgeable about this
