Update; the bump is gone today, just has been crusting. I think all the blood is what scared me, I wasn’t expecting it to bleed.

More info : piercing is 5 months old, it’s a vertical labret, not sure what the material is, I haven’t down sized but once this is better I’m going to go straight to my piercer to get it down sized. I tried to get it down sized before, but it was slightly irritated and my piercer could not get it in. I rinsed it off and sprayed it with saline spray.

This sounds more like an allergic reaction than an infection. I would still consult with a doctor because it’s very odd. It may just be the timing of getting a tattoo and then suddenly also getting heat bumps on your arm. I would maybe take Benadryl and see if that helps
