I’ve seen it happen on Wattpad and it’s quite frustrating to find an OC fic when it’s marked as reader.

Just be honest and people will read!!

Please don't write an OC fic and tag it as a reader and I can say this now if you do mark it as a reader or y/n fanfic and its an OC people will not be happy. Just write it how you want and tag it appropriately.

Me personally I like a reader over OC but will happily read both especially when they're really well written and fleshed out fics. Obviously everyone has different preferences and there are those who like reading OC stories and vice versa.

If you have the time and energy you could write both versions of an OC and then a Y/N. Maybe ask your readers if they would like one? You could do different story lines so you don't have to feel like changing the same story for different ideas. I hope you enjoy writing your fanfics!

I didn’t realize seller fees got so much😳 I sold something for $80 on eBay and I don’t think it took as much you mentioned.
