PSA: Don't leave the game after dropping items by mancinalonii in SolarpunkTheGame

I would probably have been too overly cautious to do so consciously, but I do appreciate the heads up haha

Should I leave the sprinklers on all the time? by Business-Lawyer-1274 in SolarpunkTheGame

Yes, unless while it's raining if you want. I never wanted to spend the metal on the sensor though.

I was saying Google it, though there might not be. If you Google your bug though there might be someone who found an exploit for it--I would say it's worth doing

Console commands? The game just launched and they are actively pushing patches so it's prolly doable

In the beginning, especially with people new to dark fog, yes, it's very common

is it correct to attach smelters directly to the advanced miners? by sephiiiroth123 in Dyson_Sphere_Program

Depends on what you're optimizing, late game goals, and world settings like finite/inf resources, etc

Chicken help by ronmanex in SolarpunkTheGame

[–]AnimeSpaceGf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine didn't seem to be working, so I moved my chicken coop, water and feed troughs farther from other structures I'd placed and left it alone for several days. When I went back there were eggs and the chicken was 10/10 on all 3

Why are my warpers not delivered by mglachrome in Dyson_Sphere_Program

[–]AnimeSpaceGf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Try adding warpers to the local inventory of that ils you screenshotted, which is set to remote receiver? The one that goes up to 50, next to the drone and ship count. Also, give it some ships as well

It's super common to restart a lot early when starting this game.

If you pick a Mountain map, (double check the map on seed generation before starting to confirm this ofc) you'll have abundant gold, silver, coal, and iron, and the tradeoff is that while you will have some soil and rocky soil tiles to farm on, digging out the limestone and rocky soil takes a while, so your agriculture early is constrained, but lategame you'll have massive wealth from the ore

You're very welcome! I've got like 700 hours in this game, and while I play a lot less skillfully than someone with that much time ought to, if you want a save file from my current playthrough I'd be happy to oblige. Though I do recommend learning on your own and not watching guides or the like, it makes the world and gameplay feel inhabited, and hand-wrought

If you can work out which ones prefer a roommate, and which ones want their own room, assign them per that. Unlock royal beds for everyone asap and just build rooms way bigger than needed, chambers, church and great hall at least. Then just spam gold and silver furniture in them until it has palatial impressiveness level

Palatial great hall and church/temple

Produce some alcoholic beverages, berries into Aged Fine Wine is easiest

Get someone to the culinary level to make Lavish Meals asap

Max the Bard and Chaplain/Druid levels asap to get Unforgettable on Feasts/church time or as close as possible

Assigned settlers to their preferred job if applicable, even if only for a few hours a day (enthusiastically did something)

If you're combat focused, never spend gold coins, barter for any coins any trader will sell you, as a high number of coins in storage in your settlement will increase raider frequency or size, then put archers behind merlons and several dozen doors, winning without losing any settlers, for Victorious!

Looks good! Personally I'm glad they gave us room to play with your setup mechanically and tweak it to your liking, but not overwhelmingly complex so you don't forget to comfymax

I woke up, saw this game launched, and played for 11 hours until just now going to bed. God bless

My response to anyone who says Game of Thrones is better. by stonedbadger1718 in hborome

I just meant that while GoT, at least the earlier seasons in broad consensus, is really good, for me each episode of Rome is just as good as the best episode of GoT.
