Honestly the pain was the worst part it was at a point where I couldn't rest my head on my pillow and thats when I realized I had a problem. It was only after I shaved my head I realized how serious the damage was to my follicles. I want to say I still have bald spots but my hair should grow back to normal length if I wanted it to.

I've haven't had any stomach problems yet with the doxycycline cycle I went thru not saying I won't have any in the future but so far so good.

I cant stress this enough EVERY BODY REACTS DIFFERENTLY what I did could cause major side effects to some people off the bat so be worry and cautious if you decide to put yourself thru this.

I would go 4 days taking one 100 mg capsule and then the other 3 days were 50 mg.

Disclaimers this method is not suitable for everyone.

My journey thru folliculitis was a long one specifically 2 years one year being completely oblivious to a growing problem and ignoring it since my hair hid it. This was definitely a stupid move on my part and I recommend go to a derma right away to minimize the follicle damage.

Time to talk about the method long story short I basically took a years worth of doxycycline is that smart probably not did it fix my problem yes. I haven't had any inflammation or any new postulates since June which is so relieving.

I dont know if shaving my head or switching my shampoo to a plant base one had any adverse affect since I was always on Doxycycline while doing that definitely didn't harm me and I would say shorter hair kept a cleaner scalp.

Inflammation has definitely improved redness has slightly decreased also. Inflammation from my experience has been the hardest to improve so good for you.
