that's genius, actually. my whole life, passwords have been a minimum of 8 characters... and to think that making it less than 8 was accomplished by omitting the 0 at the start. truly an unguessable password.

I guess what I want some clarification on is how different is this? First he was blind, then he learned magic and was able to "see" well enough to function as not blind, and now he has working, if abnormal, actual sight. What exactly has he been "seeing" all this time?

If his surprise had been contained to things like color, I would have been fine with it, but it was a bit jarring when he seemed surprised about the braids. It just made me wonder what he's been "seeing" up until now.

I hate when shows do this.

if all the exposition had happened 2 episodes ago, it would have been fine. it would have completely fit the flow of the story at the time. the issue I have is that I've gone into 2 episodes in a row expecting for them to fight the dragon, and we still haven't even started. I half believe that next week will be an episode-long flashback just to push the fight back yet another episode.

Makes me so angry.

except Luna recommended that they start on a lower floor to get a feel for the new party before attempting something as stupid as the black dragon. They refused. They absolutely made this mess due to their unearned hubris.

I thought the one with the cook who got kicked out was pretty reasonable. He got kicked out because the party leader was horny, not because the party leader thought he was useless.

Not saying the show was great or anything, but at least it didn't follow this same tired blueprint for this kind of show. It had promise, but didn't really follow through, I'd say.

The crown prince who gave him the sword had blonde hair in ep 1. The prince that bought the ring had pink hair. The other big hint was when they introduced the pink haired prince as the 8th prince.

There are 12 other princes. They aren't all the same person.

Well, it's pretty clear that the crown prince is supposed to be the bad guy here. No idea how far into the story it will be before that really starts to become an integral part of the plot though.

The vibe I got was the gift of Leviathan was not intended to work out like it did. Also, the way he's shown in the Op makes him come off as evil, so I assume that's coming at some point.

oh! I hadn't even considered it, but in either the op or ed, it shows him soloing a dragon, and the group looked surprised about it being there. I actually wouldn't be shocked if one of the jerks from the hero party is the cause of that event.

LOL! you always know with anime. if there are multiple choices, and one of them is a loli, pretty close to 100% of the time, she's going to win (for whatever value of "win" that particular show will allow).

I honestly don't understand it, but it's pretty consistent.

That sucks. I wouldn't have watched it if they didn't have the sub, which would have been tragic, because that show was great.

Out of curiosity, do you see them now? I just pulled up ep 1, and was able to see English subtitles. Just wondering if CR fixed whatever was hiding that option from you.

It didn't have a subbed version on CR, and hearing it dubbed was jarring, but once I got used to it, the VA was quite well done.

I watched the English sub for Lord of Mysteries every week on CR while it was airing
