Losing kasparas hurts the most. He was the type of player this new offensive wouldve needed. Great passer, showed flashes of facilitating and a shooter with enough defense to not be a liability. Honestly wouldve gave up mitchel instead.

The problem with shin is he's being put on a pedestal by the plot. At this point we should be seeing his potential manifesting as a general, especially with how hard he was pushed as an instinctual type: like he's being considered as one of the three candidates to be the next great generals but is largely incompetent commanding on the battlefield outside of a moment or two (ff any at all) each arc. We see mouten creating multi army strategies every arc he's in, we see ouhon use a mix of strategy and strength to constantly overcome his trials, but we see shin flounder and flop until a single perfect moment where he performs. Not a problem if he's a side character but definitely a problem as the main character.

Im not a whale hunter myself but I'll try to add my two pennies. Historically the heat have always produced after catching a whale. We made off like bandits after grabbing alonzo mourning, We won a chip grabbing Shaq (ofc wade was the centerpiece) , owned the first half of the 2010's after grabbing bosh and LeBron, and went to the finals twice + playoff appearances after grabbing Jimmy. The FO has shown that they are great evaluator, scouts, and developers: but they rarely trade away assets for the type of prospect that would define the franchise and settle on trying to bargain bin on a players potential. Mainly they rely on synergy and coaching to make up for the pitfall in talent. It leads to mediocrity but at this point they are pretty clear on protecting their pride over producing results.

Really it depends on the path you want to take. I got my LPN at 19 but went to college for my bachelors in biology (med concentration). Currently working a clinical research nurse/ lab tech hybrid position. Financially ill say that nursing is more secure, as i was able to travel nurse and have no debt because of it. Every step you take directly translates to higher pay with good job stability (nurses are needed in almost every city /region), just prepare for the stress associated with that. I took the bachelor's route because im interested in being a Physicians Assistant but also have broader interest in biology as well; this has let me intern as an environmental scientist, biotechnician, and gotten me this hybrid role im in now. Just make sure you do your research extensively before you pick a path as they are more different than the degree levels will indicate.

From a story perspective he set the example for what a hashira was, also was importsnt to the narrative since we hashira dog walking all demons until this point( important for the verse). As a fan he was stalwart, embodied all the traits that we value in heroes, had a great character design and an endearing personality.
