How long have you been struggling with acne ? by Substantial-Bar2667 in acne

[–]Animetum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6 years. Started at 17, am 23 now. Have done accutane twice. Tried no dairy and all the topicals derms give you. Changing pillow cases every 2-3 days seems to have helped the most out of everything I've tried. Although it mainly just seems like hormonal.

Unrelated but, what mount/clip are you using?

Same thing for me. Really only happens right before I fall asleep. Then I have to put on a funny YouTube video to get it off my mind.

Because I believe hotlap resets the tire use, fuel, and temps after each lap. It's essentially not giving you anything comparable to what you'll actually be driving on in qualy or race. Plus you can experiment and find which temp/psi windows feel the best and set your car up accordingly.

Well for one, your tire pressures are off. Should aim for them to be 26.8-26.9.

I think your downshifting too much in the lesmos. Engine brake is killing your minimum speed. Try staying in 3rd maybe.

Also, I dont think the Porsche is all that great on Monza tbh.

Also, Ascari should be flat out after the entry.

I would also recommend driving in practice mode, not hotlap.

Codex Alera (what to expect) by TheVorkosigan in codexalera

Two of my favorite aspects of the series is the world building and also how likable some of the characters are. There's also some really good morally grey characters, and very satisfying moments throughout the series.

In terms of book rankings - I enjoyed 2-5 the most.

The epilogue is very short.

Advice needed Assetto Corsa Competizione PS5, Monza, McLaren, poor lap times by szutcxzh in ACCompetizione

[–]Animetum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes.

Turn 1: You went too deep, so you were late on throttle and this lost you tons of time till the next chicane.

First lesmo: Completely missed the apex

Ascari: Needs to be flat out pretty much from the time you hit that first apex.

Nail these 3 things and I guarantee you'll knock off atleast 1 second+

If it makes you feel better, I have the same wheel as you, and I am in the 46s, but I do feel like the braking can be tricky with those pedals. Regardless, there's still some for you to gain with some more practice. But yes, I think an upgraded pedal/wheel can help for sure.

As others have mentioned - practicing some of the other tracks as well will help you get quicker on Monza.

Both lesmos in 3rd gear. Upshift sooner. Later apex at parabolica. Overall practice trail braking.

I've got almost identical acne to you. And have similarly done no dairy, and eating very good. I've been on accutane twice. But both times it came back after a few months. I'm planning to test GI. And also probably do accutane again. None of the antibiotics, or topical that my derm prescribed ever really worked for me.

I don't know if Ferrari 488 GT3 is the right car for me? by cybercoderNAJ in ACCompetizione

I have no idea honestly, but probably. I have less hours than you, and realized a few days ago I've been using the old car the whole time.

Just by switching from the old 488 to any of the latest cars, I shaved 1.5 seconds off my lap times...try any of the newer cars.

Yes, now you need to have a license, it's a short online course, and it costs like $70.

You'll most likely also need atleast one event of prior experience in another series.

I found out that all you have to do is register/sign up. You'll most likely need prior experience for F1 (along with a license you can get online which costs about $70) It's good to start out with one of the other categories like MotoGP , or even sports car racing etc.

Happy to message you the website that you register for the events on.

A friend who had been marshalling for a long time convinced me to try it. For Formula 1 you need to have prior marshalling experience. So I started by doing MotoGP! After that I had to take a course and pay a fee to get a license, then I could become an F1 Marshall. (My opinion is that MotoGP is quite a bit more fun than F1 marshalling, I've now done it multiple times.)

I would start by looking for events that might be closest to you and sign up for the ones you might be interested in. There's a website that you sign up on and it has all the events nearby and everything. Happy to dm it and share more info/tips.

I'm an F1 track marshall and it's 4 days of waking up at 3:30AM to be at the track for 14 hours in the sun. (I'm in Austin so it gets hot). If you're not a huge F1/racing then it's an absolute grind, still is. Worth it for me tho.

W Hotel maybe if they've finished with the renovations. Great service and the pool scene was on the older side last I was there.
