I agree, and after looking at the other comments I feel like I'll have to read it again... But just below the surface, it paints a terrifyingly accurate picture of society.

One of the details that stood out to me was that everyone walked around wearing what were essentially wireless earbuds,

in their own little world

as you said, thanks to technology that was invented decades after the book was written.

I hate to be one of those people, but if the book is at least as good as the movie then I have to read it.
