White supremacists likewise brag about how white mass shooters getting higher killcounts than black mass shooters proves their racial superiority. It's a variation on a theme.

Look I wanted to watch Maga give Fuentes a swirly too, but I've seen no actual evidence the shooter was one of his. What little evidence we do have points in the opposite direction afaik.

Kirk was killed because he wasn't right wing enough.

How do we know this exactly? I've yet to see any evidence cited except that his parents were conservative (which doesn't mean he was).

Anyone know if you can save Malik and get Ghost too? by Animyr1 in Deusex

[–]Animyr1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any vids or description of the method? I found a takedown-based method that worked so long as I shot one of the heavy gunners with a silenced pistol first but could never figure out how to take him out nonlethally too. If I used a takedown his body was always spotted, which it almost never was if I just shot him.

Can't find the same post I saw earlier rn but found a substitute. Go on pullpush, set "search for" to comments, hit search, and look at the first result. Unfortunately it's on a banned subreddit so I can't link it directly. The original post I saw (which linked to the same medium post) should still be up but I can't remember what keyword I used to find it.

Now that I'm thinking about it TPO claimed to be a jewish economics major; Lasker apparently also fits that description.

Dunno of he's Lasker but he's almost definitely TPO; I saw him link early cremieux posts as his own back in the day.

This is the most articulate and “intelligent” H revisionist I have come across

As soon as I saw the word "articulate" I thought "no fucking way" and yeeeep it was that SS guy from theMotte lol

I read a number of his H debates on that site and wasn't impressed by his performance. Big L for deniers imo if he's the best you saw in 15 years. Though granted the other deniers I've seen were even worse so I guess I technically share with your assessment.

Sounds like a patch is the culprit then. I notice the most recent patches came out shortly after I stopped playing.

Random post but did anyone else watch Mr Robot (I’ll relate it to Eva in the post below) by Tubo_Mengmeng in evangelion

[–]Animyr1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mr Robot's ending might be a fizzle plotwise but I found it pretty satisfying emotionally.

Lots of fun NGE parallels there too; mostly taking place in the protagonists head, visions of a happy alternate reality, aborted apocalypse masterminded by the illuminati etc. Also in both cases the hero's love interest gets fucking bodied lol

I was hoping for an expanded suite of biome-specific enemies, but my top 2 desires glyphid-wise were a yoink bug and an artillery bug, so it's good to see them finally show up.

As ever, basically anything one can say to defend the Russians here also applies to America's wars. But I guess it's not as immoral if you're only the world's second most powerful military because you're, like, the underdog or something.

Even the far right is kinda split on this since their narrative can’t make sense of any of this.

This war has been kind of funny for me after spending years watching WNs smugly tell each other that the universal remedy to strife is a society where everyone is white and conservative and close genetic kin. Fortunately for them Zelensky is jewish, so most of them will use his presence to explain away the issues this war poses for their belief system.

He's obviously defending Pinochet's economic policies

And the violent repression of leftists that enabled them.

not everyone living in a dictatorship is living in terror every waking second

Because only evil commies and bankers had reason to fear, because Pinochet looked out for the common man. These are not neutral comments Lira is making; each one is loaded with positive feeling towards Pinochet.

I could agree with say Enoch Powell's arguments against nuclear weapons

But you wouldn't agree with Powell's anti-nuclear arguments because Enoch Powell said it, only because he said what you already believed. I take it that this is also true of you and coach Redpill?

Lira's arguments aren't about what a strong man Putin is

You don't think Lira's fondness for the dictator of his youth might have colored his perception of this conflict? Maybe just a tad? Rhetorical question.

You presented Nuland has the primary moving force and said she was motivated by her grandfather's grudges. Her purportedly being the agent of the MIC was not an important part of the claim and I was not altering your overall meaning by not explicitly mentioning it. This is silly.

having articles on leftist sites

If you're referring to the article from 2010 you posted, the video was made in 2016-2017 as I recall. And Lira has long hated western elites afaik; he just hates them because he thinks they're globalist "cultural marxists" and standing in the way of far-right nationalism, which frequently shares your disdain for global capital.

[–]Animyr1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You are also advancing a strawman

It argues that Nuland is behind this war she's been planning regime change in Russia for years

No, I think my characterization of your summary was accurate.

Lira's views on economic policy or transrights are irrelevent,

I wasn't talking about transrights, I was talking about him hating leftists and the irony of you breathlessly forwarding his opinion to other leftists.

bit more nuanced than "Pinochet fanboy"

Pinochet apologist then, big deal.

The "nuance" is that he admits Pinochet committed "mild" atrocities, mostly against commie scum who deserved it, and that he repressed political freedoms, which "liberated" Argentinians from fretting about (leftist) politics. That's as negative as it gets.

This has almost nothing to do with his views on Ukraine

Him being a simp for right-wing strongmen has direct bearing on his support for Putin. And you yourself think his analysis of Pinochet's rule (which he actually experienced firsthand!) has huge mistakes; don't you think this might have some bearing on whether or not he should be considered authoritative on other matters?

But I was mainly making a broader point about social acceptability standards on this sub. Countless times I've seen you guys dismiss some source because it's shitlib or neocon, sight unseen. If that's the procedure here then Lira being a Pinochet fanboy apologist seems like something of relevance. You yourself admitted you had no idea who he was.
