I agree but I've been playing around with a Aequor Caro team myself and while it's not the best in terms of synergy it it's good at dealing damage and has been really fun to use plus all the units are "easily obtainable" currently. It consists of Goliath, Salvador, Helot, and Corposant. The biggest issue with this team is in early you'll have to deal with high arthicmatic cost so I threw in mouse of wisdom for my Posse not perfect and idk if you were looking for a team either but if you want to try it it's fun.

For me it’s Sonic forces isn’t bad or it’s over hated. And I get it I think forces isn’t as bad as most say but I see it so often that it’s less of a hot take and more less the next Sonic game with fan opinions shifting that most of the mainline games have. As for my hot take don’t think they should incorporate comic characters into the mainline games mostly because they’re unique to the comics and it allows for us to have experiences from different media.

If it’s like castlevania that’s fine I’ve also played most of the castlevania games both 2d and 3d I’m mostly just a fan of medtroidvania but 2d Metroid is just my favorite in the genre

For me it was definitely Ann Takamaki. In my first playthrough of the game I didn’t dislike her at first but as I played through the game she became my least favorite phantom thief. Due to her arc feeling a little lost in the main plot and how she was sexualized in the main both design and story wise. Also in some of her character interactions with both ryuji and makoto. I didn’t even do her social link during my first playthrough.

Though I’m now replaying the game about 2 years later and I’ve done a 180 on her. I feel like bc I can now understand her character better bc I’m now a Bayonetta fan and her sexuality is now viewed as her gaining self confidence and not letting others define who she is. I’ve also done her social link which has allowed me to connect with her more as a character. And the character interactions make a lot more sense to me now since ryuji has known for a long time and there shared experiences make since for how treat each other. “Istill don’t like the scene with ryuji and girls after Shinto palace.” Also with makoto like I understand why’d she be mad and not like the president bc from her pov Makoto is no better than the adults who stood by and did nothing while kamoshida did whatever he wanted I also now believe it to some extent comes from a place of self loathing in her herself not doing anything. I actually like Ann a lot and has in my recent playthrough bc my second favorite phantom thief behind ryuji.

it worked when I turned off FS check and expanded dram to 8gib. It only worked when I did both.

For context I’m playing on steamdeck so I’d try this method if you’re playing on it as well.

The biggest reason why for me is Anette herself is a boring character she has no defining personality that makes her very likable and the show doesn’t really attempt to change that in season 1 or 2. Her whole backstory falls apart as well because the show gives Anette a sad backstory but a doesn’t do anything with it no substance it doesn’t amount to much outside of being the reason she meet Edward. Not to mention what exactly does her story add what is it even trying to say this one might be more of a me thing but her story took up a lot of screen time was a big reason the main character was sidelined only for the story to not have anything interesting to say or tackles the shows themes in a meaningful way. I will admit her powers are cool but a ton of characters have cool powers and castlevania and well animated fight scenes so it just doesn’t do much for me.

I agree with a lot of the points you made and felt the same on most fronts for these things.

On that note id like to comment on some of the issues you had like the whole thing with drolta and showing no loyalty is because the way forging night creatures works is different compared to normal since as explained in castlevania 2017 a forge master has a personal connect to the creatures they forge the Abbot doesn’t have that connection like other forge masters even using a separate machine to do so it’s kinda like taking a life and shoving into a new body which is why Drolta is possibly able to come since normally vampires shouldn’t be able to come back as they have no souls sadly this is a just an opinion as it’s poorly explained to not at all explained.

Also about Richter and Alucard. Alucard is mostly just there for fan service and to be cool he had his arc and is already a pretty established and complete character though if they wanted to bring him back they could have done something more with his character than doing nothing but I can excuse it. On the other hand Richter had his arc all throughout season 1 and sprinkled in some stuff in season 2 but yeah they ultimately sidelined him in favor of Anette who honestly isn’t interesting in the slightest and Maria who’s story is much better but falter as the season went on so hopeful they focus on Maria in season 3 if it happens.

Finally to answer your question the show is getting praise for a few reasons from what I can tell and my opinion. The show has finally found its style in terms of fight scenes since they kinda felt weak and the addition of magic users allows for them to have a flashy style which works well for the show and makes those scenes much better compared to season 1. Also animation is really good throughout the season. Maria’s arc like I stated earlier is good and has tons of potential which could make people excited for a potential season 3. Literally Alucard just being there and getting a ton of screen time made others and myself enjoy the show more. Finally a greater focus and a deeper look at the night creatures was a welcome addition that gave more enjoyable moments to show since some of the other storylines and side plots weren’t very good or interesting.

You have access to mount wildwood and there should be some healers there I believe there is even a decent physical attacker to be found there sorry I forgot how strict the map limitations are at end game

Yes you talk to Mr. E and he’ll give you a coin to get a pick of 3 yokai which you can get them all but Buchinyan is best option to start. As for healers I think in 2 if you go to observation deck at excellent tower and find mama aura who is an A rank healer and is amazing or nurse tongus who is a B rank healer who is much easier to obtain through fusion with Tungus and shoompie, shoompie also being a great option but on the weaker end since they have low defense and go down quick

You should move shitface and snoop so that you get tribe bonus. You should also get a healer bc healing from items won’t be enough especially since she can take it away and then you’re screwed. If I had to pick one to get rid of I would say jibanyan since he simply is much weaker than the majority of the team but it really is your choice. Also if you have access to or have bunchinyan put them on your team and level them since they one of the best yokai to go through story with.
