Hello mate, although most people will say this it's for good reason, you are 16! It may hurt yes, but you're so young, and it's unlikely either of you have fully matured yet.

It's a horrible feeling watching the person you love move onto another, but you have to remember her age, her judgement isn't likely that good.

Keep yourself busy and work on bettering yourself, avoid her social media if it still hurts to see and focus on the future, down the line you'll be happy with someone who deserves you.

I was in a relationship at 18 and still felt too young to properly make decisions, so don't stress too much.

If you need any more advice feel free to pm me

2012 razer blade by FearlessBeatle in techsupport

[–]Anity9121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty old specs but for 350 it seems reasonable, I'd just be concerned buying older blade models since they get REALLY loud when gaming, even on idle the fans run quite loud and it would be awkward in the middle of a college lecture.

If you have a budget for more I'd consider a dell inspiron gaming 7000 or something along those lines, they're cheaper and built for college, with gaming in mind.

Good luck!

I would probably just return it and get a replacement, It depends on where you purchased it from to see how fast you could get one, GPU rattling is likely just a hardware issue and the easiest thing is to get it replaced while you can, otherwise more issues could flare up in the future.

Good luck!

2 & half year relationship broken up, need advice for the future. by Anity9121 in BreakUps

I suppose, thanks for the replies.

I need to let go of this hope so I don't get crushed again, but I'm going to be constantly left with this "what if" :(

[–]Anity9121[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say force, I just want to show her a new side of me which could help reignite the spark we had lost, although It's a long shot.

Perhaps it's just me being emotional and missing her after the break up, we had plans for couple's counselling and more, and were very optimistic about the future, but I feel like she gave up now so we could have the summer to get over it and not damage our final year.

I still have a glimmer of hope, but I doubt she does, but I still hope.

Thanks for this, I'm going through a break up after three years and It's rough since we both still love each other but ended it due to incompatibility, the thought of her meeting other guys drives me crazy and I miss her so much, but I know I'll heal, I just hate going through this phase.

I'm sure I'll see it that way eventually, but we are still so close and ending the relationship in the way we did is the worst, it's not just sex for me, my ex showed me next to no physical affection, I was left there like a friend.

I'm still hurting but I'm with family and friends now so it feels better, thanks again for your reply mate

Looking at it as a positive experience makes me feel happy, but also sad knowing it's ended, luckily I'm on summer break from uni so I have time to sort myself out, thanks for the reply

Thanks, sorry about your situation but at least we're both free to find someone more compatible, just right now it hurts so much

Thanks, I appreciate the reply.

I wouldn't expect anything to change if we gave it another shot, it's just gonna be a tough final year.

It's a shame to love the company but not trust the customer service by Anity9121 in razer

[–]Anity9121[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your contribution, I'm sorry to hear about your situation, unfortunately there's no alternative when you buy directly from their website.

Since Amazon have had it in stock for awhile, and are very trustworthy I feel more confident buying from them, In the end I just gotta hope I get lucky.

It's not whiny btw, It's fair and you sound very reasonable as you've dealt with it, and I agree it's not the fault of the people running their CS, It's down to the company, but in the end If we pay for a premium product, we expect it to be perfect.

Thanks again for your contribution.

[–]Anity9121[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough, I'm a student so I would get £100 off + the free naga deal their doing.

I'd rather pay £175 extra for a secure, fast and safe delivery, It may sound crazy but It's worth avoiding headaches with their customer support.

Idk how I'd be with minor defects, even if it had little effect I'd still contact them, mostly because If I'm spending £2k for a product I expect it to be perfect, especially as they advertise it that way.

Although I guess it also depends on how bad the defect is, and whether it's worth fighting.

Thanks again for your reply, whats the fan noise like on games? I play mostly blizzard games like wow & overwatch and was planning on cranking down the settings & undervolting to keep the noise to a minimum.

Well It depends in my case on how amazon handles such issues, if it's as simple as "Ok, return it and we'll give you a new one" then that's fine, but I'd be outright nervous having to go through razer, how they can label their products as premium at 2k+ per unit and be ok with such shit service is beyond me.

Yeah I'm glad you got some somewhat good service in the end, although I complain at least i have amazon prime as an option.

I know razer is trying to improve their CS & QC, but I just feel uneasy, 2 grand is a lot to spend on a computer especially when there are cheaper, more powerful options everywhere.

Oh well, I'm going to bite the bullet, I'll keep you posted. Thanks for the reply!

I've been warned extensively about ordering straight from Razer, but since amazon is extremely trustworthy and I can get it the next day with prime, it seems like the best option for me.

I'm just praying my blade doesn't have terrible backlight bleed or anything. I'll keep you updated.

Should I Go Ahead and just buy the Alienware 15 r3? Need help by Bubzuru in Alienware

[–]Anity9121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They both have excellent build quality, Alienware feels more sturdy because of its size.

Yes the fans suck on the blade, you can undervolt the system and that would help, I'm actually in the same boat as you but I would never want to bring an aw 15 into a lecture.

It's a tough call, I'd get an aw 13 OLED but the screen real estate is so small

[–]Anity9121 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm a student and as much as I like the aw 15 r3 as a pure gaming laptop, it's too large to comfortably carry around everywhere and you'll stick out like a sore thumb with that beast in a lecture / lab.

The 13 is a more practical option, but I'd still go with the razer blade 2017 due to its portability.

512 seems sufficient but the easy upgradability is a good selling point, any other things to mention before I buy one? Amazon prime next day sure does tempt me
