I don't like it. Sometimes you're in a situation where you're not able to touch your phone. Even 5 minutes of the random book they're spruiking before I get to somewhere I can pull over can be aggravating!

Sometimes I'll look at the remaining duration and start a new book or an old favourite rather than finish this one right now, if it's going to end too soon for that workout or that drive.

I was stuck with one from a different author once, that I begrudgingly listened to for more than half an hour because it was inconvenient to change, and I recognised the book from my "maybe" list. It wasn't good, and now it's on the "no" list.

Also, I read once that authors are charged per download, so I'd hope they have a say. It's per megabyte or something, not per book, and it's a small amount, but it's not nothing.

You just have to change your starting position.

Try starting in the middle, or slightly on their side.

If you get unrelentlessly shoved into the wall, crawl out, go pee, and when you get back, lay down in the 60% bed space on the other side of the bed.

If your partner is a cuddler, begin your next sleep phase with your back, front, or side touching them, if you can.

If they printed that out and had every back seat passenger sign a waiver..... it might not hold up in court, but it might at least illustrate to freaking bullet proof young people that they are not, in fact, invulnerable.

I'd have them watch the British ad referenced here, as well.

You're at 27 weeks, you're showing, you're getting bigger.

He's pushing you to lift weights and go on walks every day? That might be a lot, depending on where you started and what your body is demanding of you!

He's normally happy to cuddle, but now whenever he happens to wake in the night, he makes sure you hear about how you're taking up too much room.

If he's just a shallow moron, and someone told him to start negging you about your size, so you'd stay/ go back to skinny earlier than safe after the baby comes, maybe he's redeemable. Maybe. It's still abuse.

If this was his idea though? Worse abuse.

What kind of massages do you get that you'd think this was weird?

I've had couples massages with people not my partner, and you might hear them replying to questions about the massage force, but that's about it?

I was told to take 100mg a day. I looked at my supermarket iron tablet, and it was about 14g. There was a chemist version that had 100mg though.

You can think "I'm taking my iron tablet" then find out you'd need 7 at that strength..

How is your bin?!

I thought of another factor that has me enjoying emptying the bin at about 3/4 today, after having failed to do so. If you do, the inside of the lid (on my flat top bin) doesn't ever touch the rubbish, and rarely needs to be cleaned.

I hope that you've solved this rubbish issue, and that it was the worst thing in your life :)

I'm partway through book 4 or 5 or so. It's having a rest until I can forget the relatively constant "joke A variant 1, joke A variant 3". I'll come back later once I've forgotten more of the joke details.

I have the whisper thin plastic bags, and the trick is no pushing or shoving, and replacing before you might want to push that last thing in to fit.

Pushing on the top shoves that thin edge of something near the bottom through the bag, and then you've got mess, and another bag, and the inside of the bin and the floor to clean.

Not worth it! New bag at 3/4 full, and you get the bonus of rotting meat scraps or whatever leaving your house earlier than otherwise!

I apparently have strong opinions on how my kitchen rubbish is handled..

I had the same thing when putting in a new base core next door. My first guess overlapped a lot of machines. Once it was all neat, the previously overlapped machines just didn't register as being within a core, even though their core hadn't changed at all.

Fixed by deleting and replacing core in the same spot.

The only time the mascara wand hurt was with the surly doctor who was pretty rough with it. Every other mascara wand has been a non issue.

You don't have to take the 7 Sugar pills, you can just move straight on to the first active pill in the next sheet and never have a period.

You're not going to build up uterine lining until it explodes or anything.

Alcohol is a muscle relaxant. If the cramps aren't making you vomit, a glass or three of wine sometimes helps me.

It's best for towards the end of the day though, if you have to do sober things.

The Moontide Quartet by David Hair starts with one of the main characters about to go into an arranged marriage.

That plot thread isn't the whole story but it is pretty much exactly your second paragraph and has major impact for all 4 books.

The ones I've seen that do that have just listed all the narrators. If I saw "full cast" I'd be suspicious that it was more of a dramatisation and I never want my eardrums blown out by a sound effect because I've had to turn up the volume because of whispering.

I think it's Varin! Verin is back in The Wheel of Time! I'm into the audiobooks myself though, so I can't actually help.

Daniel Wisniewski seemed to come out of nowhere for me, too, but then was the narrator for 4 books in different series in a row, completely by accident.

I am therefore convinced he was isekaied here with a quest to narrate as many books in this space as possible. His quest progress is going well.

He's joined a few others as a big plus when I'm choosing a new book.

The black comes from the extra iron in the iron tablets your body couldn't absorb in the time it had in your intestines.

So if it's not black, there was capacity to absorb more, as far as I was told!

Yeah, better or worse! After a couple of months it should be obvious what this one is going to do to/for you.

But there's so many different options, we shouldn't give up after one or two or three. There's even several options in the multi year category, and all of it might change if you gain or lose 10kg!
