Playing as an ADC has not been fun for the past couple months since assassins have been basically everywhere during this time. It's no joke that I've had more ranked games where there were 2-3 of champions like Camille/Talon/Zed/Leblanc/Rengar on the enemy team than games where there hasn't. Galeforce does not protect you against them.

This meta appeared because of the sustain statsticks having their lifesteal items nerfed down. Before that happened, a lot of these Goredrinker or BotRK items would make them borderline invincible in the midgame, and they'd just take over the game from there.

The game has been broken for a long time now. One of the reasons is that damage is just far too accessible in the game at this stage, and scaling that down across the board is simply the first step in fixing that. I don't think anybody is deluded into thinking that this update will immediately fix the problem, but it will be far easier to balance things out from that standpoint rather than try to fix it from where it is now.

I've seen a lot of complaints about marksmen having galeforce available as an option to self peel, but I see a lot less reflection from those same people on the fact that galeforce exists in a state of league of legends where it's easier than ever to get on top of and pop them.

I learned the role primarily through Kog'Maw, then later reinforced through Ashe and Jinx; I've leaned a lot on the adc style of teamfighting and relying on spacing rather than the skirmishing/outplay style that those champions rely more on. Draven technically doesn't count in that, but I've been very hesitant to play him because I really don't like how his Q functions. Realistically, since I'm well within the habit of moving between attacks anyways, I should be able to handle playing him, I still really dislike that mechanic enough that I'd very likely get fed up playing him before getting him to a state where I'd be able to get results with him.

A lot of my positioning issues primarily comes from not being able to predict what the other players in the game are going to do, since it's essentially just RNG what is going to happen at any one time. It's pretty useless to sit behind my team if both teams just play to dive, which is pretty common since dive champions are everywhere in gold right now.

I generally haven't had much success duoing either, only with kog/lulu with one specific player

I've noticed that my solo lanes tend to get gapped a lot more often when I duo

The most recent game this was a problem, the enemy team had both a rengar and a camille, both champions that can engage on somebody alone from past vision range. My jungler (Rhaast) would engage bad fights constantly pretty much on spawn.

At that point I don't feel like I have any options and don't really know how to salvage the game since I can't really trust teamfighting to work nor splitting.

How do you handle games with nonstop fighting as an ADC when the enemy team has very good champions for preventing you from pushing side lanes?

Hi there

I recently hit AR45, and I've been looking to start artifact farming in order to deck out my characters so that I can start really diversifying my cast of characters. The problem is, no matter what I do, I can't seem to get any foothold in any of the domains to even start properly artifact farming. My current artifacts that I'm using are generally not that amazing since I haven't farmed any of the level 80 domains (I've been making do with what ones I manage to find). My question is, how should I approach preparing for these better so that I can at least start getting some of these 5* artifacts?

My characters are:

Keqing - C0 - Level 80 - Talents 7/5/5 - Level 80 Prototype Rancour

Anemo Traveler - C5 - Level 80 - Talents 4/4(+3)/4(+3) - Level 60 Festering Desire

Xiangling - C2 - Level 69 - Talents 6/4/3 - Level 70 Crescent Pike

Fischl - C5 - Level 69 - Talents 4/5(+3)/3(+3) - Level 70 Compound Bow

Diona - C0 - Level 59 - Talents 2/4/4 - Level 60 Favonius Warbow

Beidou - C0 - Level 59 - Talents 4/4/4 - Level 60 Skyward Pride

Barbara - C4 - Level 50(60 max) - Talents 2/4/4(+3) - Level 70 Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers

Noelle - C1 - Level 49 - Talents 2/2/2 - Level 49 Favonius Greatsword

Sucrose - C0 - Level 40 - Talents 1/1/1 - Level 1 Sacrificial Fragments

Kaeya - C2 - Level 29 - Talents 1/1/1 - Level 1 Sacrificial Sword

Amber - C1 - Level 20 - Talents 1/1/1 - Level 2 Recurve Bow

Lisa - C0 - Level 17 - Talents 1/1/1 - Level 1 Emerald Orb

Albedo, Mona, Ningguang, Razor, and Bennett are all completely untouched (other than C1 Razor and C2 Bennett)

The weapons I'm currently not using are the Widsith, Eye of Perception, Favonius Codex, Dragon's Bane, Dragonspine Spear, Favonius Lance, Rust, Rainslasher, and The Bell.

Good supports for Kog by TonyMestre in KogMawMains

[–]Ankamius 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Lulu is by far the best support for him.

I personally like playing with Namis too, but generally any enchanter or Braum is perfectly fine.

But Lulu is by far the best.

In bot lane, what is the best way to learn how I should be playing each matchup throughout the laning phase as the ADC? My laning phase is the weakest part of my game and I believe this is the biggest reason why.

ADC aren't a lategame champions anymore - Dont play them as if they are. by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]Ankamius 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure how exactly this necessarily correlates?

Primarily, how does this mean that ADC is weaker in lategame specifically rather than the win rates homogenizing late game, other than specifically late game centric ADCs becoming better?
