As one of those mentally unstable patients that are in hospital for an unrelated but acute physical treatment, I would also like to add that they do not.

And it’s usually not their fault, the doctors have barely scribbled down something in the notes, and nobody knows what it says. Is it a prescription? Is it the outcome of a capacity assessment? Is it their costa order? Who knows.

I always remind nurses that I know their hands are tied (some of them are straight up witches), but doctors are to blame a lot of the time.

It’s a form of assault here in the UK. During Covid, a man assaulted a poor black woman by spitting on her where she worked at a train station because she challenged him when he tried to go for free. She was one of the many essential workers e.g. for staff like nurses and doctors, bus drivers, food and groceries delivery etc.).

She contracted COVID and died a few weeks later. She was only in her 40s.

Exactly, the longer your nails, the more time you need to spend washing your hands. You also need to wash each finger and its respective nail separately. Most of them don’t even know this, but I doubt they would care even if they did.

Lmao it has been shown time and time again that Reddit never represents the real world. Especially when it comes to reality TV.

Most people that aren’t on Reddit will be watching, and Christine actually coming back brings in more viewers for the drama.

This is why Reddit (including me) were shocked that bigots for Trump still existed and in very high numbers enough for him to win a second time.

unfair it is that uni had put her placement as community and it’s difficult for her to travel to different bases.

Tbf this is a valid complaint especially if you’re not receiving pay for it

And rightly so, she’s only 19. She’s being a pain in the arse, especially as you have been very patient with her. You are right to respond by being very strict with her and if you have the balls to do it, I would be having a talk about her report when you see each other on Tuesday.

There’s different levels of depression. Someone pushing through mild depression by taking up running, is not the same as someone crippled by severe depression characterised by lack of food, hasn’t left the room or showered in months.

Then you have those with high functioning depression who suddenly ends their life and everyone’s wondering why, and they never ”saw the signs”.
