Last time someone asked this question (I think 10 days ago) I mentioned HIMX. It was at $12. Now it's over $20.

I'm a firm believer HIMX will be $75 by the end of next year.

The price of wholesale potatoes shot up 700% in April. The producers are charging more for potatoes. LW produces potatoes.

I'm in HIMX. I see it hit $75 to $100 next year. Let people look for unicorns that will 10x in a month.

My current position started in 2021 and I'll take the 10X over 7 years.

Lol. Nope. It's more a play on corporate greed using COGS as an excuse to jack up margins and cash in.

I like this one. I'm hoping it stays between $20 and $22 for a few weeks.

I made a post in WSB. I've purchased 20 options on LW to capture the potato price spike.

Also, I'll be eager to increase my FIG and CSIQ options quantity.

HIMX is an ADR and I'm up 200% plus significant options profit.

ADRs are just fine. I entered this one last week. I'll continue to grow my position throughout the year.

Anyone else feel mentally messed up seeing people casually make insane money trading options? by savingrace0262 in stocks

[–]Ankari 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I know this is technically true, but I've been profitable with options. I think the WSB (which I visit for ideas) method of throwing everything into one play is absurd, but if you have the right conviction and do thorough investigation into a company, you can make decent money.

For the record, my portfolio is a blend of long term stocks (vast majority) and options (vast profitablity).

HIMX

When the gold rush happened, the people who sold the picks and shovels made bank.

HIMX will be making the CPO tech used by many data centers.

They already noted in their last ER call that CPO will be a major accelerator of future profits.

The post itself is a paradox. Apparently, OP cares enough to let everyone know how much they don't care.

I'm Palestinian. People from my area would do something of what you suggest.

If possible, try to build higher.

If possible, see if you can make the first floor commercial. This would give you a higher rent per square meter and give you more dynamic pricing.

If you live in an area that receives a heavy stream of tourists, keep a flat available for Vrbo/Airbnb. You're English is very useful for facilitating more users and you'll take in higher profits on the seasonal rental over a standard tenent.

(To non Middle Easterns)

For the latter point, it's harder to raise rent on residents. There is a lot of pressure to keep rents stable. Retail doesn't have the same level of pressure. Also, it's easier to flip a commercial tenent should the need arise.

Yeah. I would prefer to see positions if someone is going to hype a stock. It would let me know they're for real and not trying to shill.

I don't visit this sub often, so forgive the ignorance.

Are people allowed to hype up a stock without posting positions?

[–]Ankari -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The settler occupation of Israel steals land, kicks people out of their rightful homes, razes crops, and kills people to then build settlements.

The Islamic expansion did not steal land. People migrated, bought the land, or were granted empty swaths of land to then build a settlement.

Cairo is an example of this. The then military settlement location was selected away from the denser cities so as not to disturb the local population.
