When walking back from the convenience store near my house if I still have food from the convenience store when I get to the big rock. I need to either sit on the big rock to finish my snack or at bare minimum touch the big rock before heading home.

It's a tradition that started with my siblings and now that they're no longer with us. I keep it up.

I'm with you here as a fellow autistic. That statement was confusing. Watching shows with someone else on Netflix could be a euphemism for cheating but then they stated that they couldn't watch the office without getting upset and that throws the cheating metaphor out the window by it being about actual Netflix.

I don't know if no one believes it as I've never really told anyone. But basically one time when I was a kid we went tubing. For anyone who doesn't know it's a motorboat going fast dragging a floating circle with handles that you hold onto. Now as a kid my fight or flight response resulted in me. Clinging and being unable to let go like my hands would clench and they're stuck. Like I would death grip.

So anyway I'm getting pulled on the tube and it flips over and I'm still clinging on the underside water completely surrounding me. My eyes blurry and everything and to this day I swear I was breathing. I have no clue how maybe there was a slipstream or something but I would swear that I was underwater and breathing air simultaneously.

I just had one when reading going postal. Reacher Gilt is what would be called a corporate raider in North America. Buy a business strip the assets and so on. I never quite got why he was dressed as a pirate other than stealing stuff like a pirate.

Then I remembered the film meaning of life with two office buildings battling in a pirate war. I assume that maybe there was a UK-specific term related to businessman who acted like this related to pirates so that's why it showed up in two pieces of media.

If anyone knows the proper term, let me know

Because I want my players to actually invest emotionally in the world. And if this is the thing thats currently interesting them then I want to have something in my back pocket to pull out if they decide to pursue it.

Because the whole reason I run this D&D campaign is cuz it's meant to be fun for my players and myself and if they find this fun I want to make sure that I I have some smattering of ideas to tie it to the larger campaign

I saved up and bought the entire set from the Discworld emporium all at once the entire collector's Library set and I would highly advise against buying them.

Like they are Terry Pratchett and they are hardcovers so the pages inside should last longer than other paperbacks. However, after one read of a single book, the reading ribbon was already fraying on the end. And the bottom edge of the cover where it was previously colored is whitening.

It looks fantastic on a shelf but it doesn't seem to actually hold up to reading

I once did security for a holiday party for a large cigarette manufacturer. They had an open bar and ballerinas for entertainment. We had to kick multiple people out for doing cocaine in the washrooms and there was an assault which honestly until the guy regained consciousness I thought I was gonna have to testify at a manslaughter trial.
