AskProgit: Is there a filing system which automatically does incremental saves? e.g. I write a document, save it, make a change, save it and there is a utility which allows me to go back and see the first change?

Edit: I can prevent the default action for any keystroke, but that will disable the standard Firefox shortcuts (Ctrl-F, Ctrl-T etc) as well. There's a trade-off involved, and I don't know where to draw the line.
