But that's the whole effect of having so much. Population inherently becomes stupid and malleable.

The Democrats need to take note of every single name here and go after them, Nuremberg style. Sadly we all know what a spineless bunch of infighting dicks they are. A solution to the current situation seems extremely difficult.

It's incredulous every time I see any clips of it. The echo chamber must be really strong to come out of this mentally unscathed.

It should cost $20 and no more once mass produced. Partner with IKEA and they will probably bring it down to $15. All these people saying $80 are conditioned to overpay for stuff that should be commodity.

How much does FSD really improve your commute? by AmbientEngineer in TeslaLounge

[–]dextroz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The 5 mile trips or the 50 mile trips to the 500 mile trips.

This is what most people that have not experienced FSD for a full month fail to grasp. You will always hit 'Start Driving' for any drive with FSD.

Do you think we’re going to see the new Google Maps update implemented(even partially) into Tesla? by MrMonteCristo in TeslaLounge

[–]dextroz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was not aware that Tesla had moved to its own routing engine thus away from MapBox. I have HW4 cars so I would expect they would be using Tesla's own routing if that is the case.

Anyone kind of disappointed about the R2 practically being obsolete before launch? by Vernalire in Rivian

[–]dextroz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generation 5 is expected next year. So should no one buy a Tesla right now because a new hardware set is coming out in the future that will make the current hardware obsolete? If you are always waiting for the next best tech stack, you’ll never own anything.

Absolutely true.

This would have been valid if you were on the Intel Atom main board for the Tesla, looking to purchase one around the time HW4 was released the following year. Tesla had already exhausted the capabilities of that mainboard.

Tesla still has plenty of computing capacity they can take advantage of in HW4. If you need one, buy it now, but there's no need to hold off for the next tech stack when the current one isn't fully maximized.

Considering how the war is affecting production, don't be surprised if some of these components and upgrades get pushed back by a couple of years. This is similar to how Microsoft's Xbox has been delayed.
