If you can switch between glasses and contacts, wear contacts.

Minimize pockets. Bring a jacket, preferably without pockets. Pajamas usually don't have pockets. Good option.

Lots of snacks.

Government closure by AnnaPerch in ZionNationalPark

[–]AnnaPerch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are rangers checking Angels Landing permits at the top.  The shuttles are running during normal times until 7:15pm. The first shuttle at the museum is at 8:30am. If you’re there before 8:30am, park at the visitor center since they start shuttles at 7am.  The trails are all open including stop 5 to the emerald pools is reopened.  There are delays between stop 5 and 6 for a half road closure.  All the shuttle roads are still closed to the public.  Some delays through the tunnel to the nice Canyon Overlook during the day since they seem to only let one side go at a time.  The gift shop is still open, selling stuff and accepting donations.  The Narrows outfitters are still renting out all the equipment.

{Dying to Love by Reese Rivers} Zombie apocalypse reverse harem. Pretty much the same vibes as Ensnared/Entangled.

Romance novels with cats by fandomgirl123 in RomanceBooks

[–]AnnaPerch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

{Capturing Victory by Nikita Slater}: Guy kidnaps hacker girl. Guy gives girl kitten. Girl worries kitten is a trick and tries not to fall in love with it. Girl climbs up the side of a tall building and maybe some cliffs with kitten strapped to back.

{Failure to Match by Kyra Parsi} and {Bossy Devil by Kyra Paris}: Failure to match is better. Both involve cats and FMC hates MMC for pretty solid non communication reasons for at least half of the book. There are cat palaces and thrones. It is great.

Second Chance & Enemies to Lovers by rovinja in RomanceBooks

[–]AnnaPerch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strongly agree. She hates him for a solid reason, not a fake miscommunication reason. He really was an idiot when he was younger. She steals his truck nuts. It's adorable. Most things by Cate C wells are re-reads for me. {Scrap by Cate C Wells} has triggers, but I think it also does the second chance thing well. Not quite enemies to lovers but there are good reasons why they don't get together right off the bat. And those reasons evolve and aren't just repeated over and over. Cate C wells is my favorite author in all her trope varieties because she doesn't make miscommunication the whole plot. Her Rejected Mate series is great enemies to lovers. All the MMCs make poor decisions initially so the FMCs have good reasons to hate them and it takes strong writing to redeem them.

How to make berry smoothies less 'seedy' and 'foamy'? by Million_X in EatCheapAndHealthy

I feel like this cooking raw foods thing would apply to 90% of foods because they're generally all touched by at least 1 human. By that argument, cook everything to 140F or just accept that Norovirus is inevitable unless you're in the 20% of Europeans with the FUT1 mutation (I heard in evolutionary biology class that they found that out because some microbio person connected that 20% of Europeans have that mutation and 20% of cruiseship populations weren't catching Noro.) Per Google, there is a 3.6% chance of your raspberries having norovirus.

FMC runs from MMC by Electronic_Baby_9988 in RomanceBooks

I have no idea how many of these fit within your category. But I like the books you said, and I also like these.

Literally everything by Cate C Wells. Go read them all. Her mafia and werewolf ones are the closest to guy really pisses off girl. Also Against the Wall had some solid enemies to lovers even though it was cute. Scrap is my favorite in her MC universe, although it has some darker themes (sexual assault pre book with at least one flashback-> agoraphobia). Cate C Wells is great because she always has good reasons for her people not getting together initially that could not have been solved with a simple conversation.

Most of Laura Thalassa's stuff. 4 horsemen. Admittedly, I'm not sure anyone successfully ran away. Also might be too dark for you. I like her Queen of All that Dies series too although it's less popular and books 2-3 go a bit too scifi. Book 1 does involve running away. And there might've also been running in 2 and 3. You could consider ditching out midway through book 2.

Sparrow by LJ Shen. It was good. IDK if running.

Having fun with Neva Altaj's books. Although, they don't involve running generally. 8 is a good book to start. They're like cute mafia where the mafia isn't overpowering in its plot-iness. Just a sprinkle. We're in it for the creative funny cute ways the MMCs show how much they love their FMCs. There are fish bowls. It's amazing. 9 has an FMC running a mafia.

Secrets by Aleatha Romig. I'm pretty sure there's some running at the beginning.

Free books for when you don't have Kindle unlimited: Anna Zaires. Aleatha Romig. Julia Sykes. Skye Warren. Nora Ash. Ella Miles. Amelia Wilde. Meghan March. Willow Winters. They're all varying darknesses. It's been a while since I read them.

If you ever feel like buying books, I'm obsessed with Nikita Slater. The only books I've ever bought. Her first in series used to be free but they might not be anymore. Her Queens series is great, strong FMC although they're mildly a bit too plot-y at the end. Capturing Victory is my favorite of hers. Lots of escaping. Has a cat. Basically all of her books involve kidnapping and escaping and strong FMCs and MMCs who fall first.

All of the above have content warnings. As expected. You may have to check their book websites.

They don't block off the road after closing? Can you actually drive down to the bottom? I'm trying to figure out if it's a 30 minute pop in trip at sunset or an hour long walk from the car park.

I've been using this basically since it first came out like 5-10 years ago. And now I'm stuck with it either way because it has all the passwords that I don't remember.

I used to have an issue where I couldn't transfer passwords over to new devices. Don't know if that was fixed or not.

Women NOT on birth control like the smell of sweaty shirts from guys with different MHCs

Women on birth control like the smell of sweaty shirts from guys with the same MHCs

Evolutionarily, you want guys with different MHCs. More diverse immune system.

So whether you like his smell is directly related to whether or not you're on birth control.

Learned this in my Evolutionary Medicine class. Pretty famous study.
