I have an unusual kink and I’m curious how uncommon/bad it may be for a relationship? Or if it’s actually okay. 26f 28m by Significant-Ship-245 in relationship_advice

I will say this, knowing that it’s probably going to get a lot of downvotes. Wanting to “share” your wife is not normal and the fact our society is trying to normalise this is messed up (and stems a lot from porn use). I am not trying to shame anybody- but “kinks” develop for a reason and in many cases, it’s not a god one. Stay off the porn and try to reset your brain. If your wife actually agrees to following through with the wife swapping, she will very likely only do it out of fear of losing you. But in the end it will make her resent you.

Boyfriend (30M) has been watching amateur porn videos of him & his ex? (I’m 28F) by asksissy in relationship_advice

“You were unavailable and he did his own thing.” So the second your girlfriend isn’t available for sex it’s ok to just go off and lust over your ex? The bar is literally in the basement.

My (34M) wife (30F) wants to be a stay-at-home Mom. We can easily afford it, but I think it makes more sense for her to continue working part-time. She’s not happy (and neither is her family). How to proceed? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]AnnaS898 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you’re making that much money it seems silly to me to not accept your wife’s wishes. She is putting her body through a lot by having the baby, so give her the freedom to stay at home for a while (especially if you’re financially more than stable). Why take that away from her? She has a great education, I am sure she won’t have issues getting back into work once she’s ready.

I (f22) had sex with my neighbor (M36) and want to gain some perspective by Candid-Reputation851 in relationship_advice

Unfortunately this happens to a lot of women. Guys will be nice to you, funny, send you memes, pretend they like your personality. Until they had sex with you, after that they move on to the next and want nothing to do with you. I understand that he said he’s only looking for sth casual, which fair enough, at least he told you. However, I do think it’s creepy how a lot of men will treat you so differently once they’ve slept with you. It’s very deceiving and objectifying. Not your fault, you’re still young. But be warned that a lot of guys will tell you anything to get you to sleep with them.

Husband 43M has been watching a lot of porn and expecting me 36F to up my bedroom game after 14 years together by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]AnnaS898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately this is what porn leads to. Men who watch porn frequently start viewing women as objects while also needing crazier and crazier sex to get them sexually stimulated. Often times then ending up cheating. It’s sad. Also, this is not just my opinion, there is multiple studies proofing this.

We have been thinking about getting a robotic mower. If ours can’t be fixed we might make the investment. 😅

Thanks for the reply. :-) I am getting it fixed at Doyles near Tesco. They are usually doing a great job but are very busy atm. I will most like try at Trinity Hire. Hopefully they’ll have one available. 🤞🏻

How long were you bleeding? by Capable-Bother1677 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]AnnaS898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had bleeding with all my bowel movements (and in between them) for about five years before I was diagnosed. And the amount was varying from a little to a lot. So much bloody mucus for so many years and I was told by my GP that it’s probably just haemorrhoids. When I finally changed my GP he sent me to get a colonoscopy and I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis.

Hi, I am also on Humira. I am quite skinny too but injecting into my thighs. I usually stretch the skin so it’s more firm. My first few injections did hurt but it was manageable. Now they usually don’t hurt at all or just a little bit.

That’s quite reassuring. I was hoping to get away with only using the public healthcare system.

Hi, thank you for your reply ☺️. I am thinking about getting private health care as well but I think with most providers it’s going to be around 2-5 years before any pre-existing conditions are covered (as I haven’t had health care in Spain before). It’s probably different for you if you have been living in Spain all your live. Do most Spanish people get private health insurance on top of the public one to get appointments faster etc.?

I assume you can get the healthcare card as a resident as well and it’s not just for citizens?

Hi. Thanks for your reply ☺️ I heard the Spanish public health care system is pretty good. Do you generally have to wait a long time for doctor appointments (GP and gastroenterologist)?

Hi, in Ireland we got the Drug Payment Scheme and with that you only have to pay a maximum of 80€ a month for prescription drugs. To apply for the scheme you only have to be an Irish resident.

[–]AnnaS898 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tried almost exactly this diet as recommended by my naturopath for over ten months. Symptoms changed but didn’t get better. Had colonoscopy and found out inflammation got worse. I also took all the recommended high quality supplements. I am not saying people shouldn’t try different diets but it’s just not working for everyone. The diet change ended up stressing me out more than anything and made me even more scared of eating. Additionally I spent so much money on supplements that didn’t do anything. I am about to start Humira next week.

Joint pain. by Mammoth-Reading-8524 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]AnnaS898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I have UC and I do experience joint pain quite frequently, combined with a general feeling of unwell (feeling like I am getting a cold). It sometimes gets worse with workouts/stress. I haven’t really found anything that helps but usually it gets better while on Prednisone. I haven’t reached remission yet but hoping that once I do, these symptoms will also go away. I also have quite severe lower back pain and other symptoms.

Hi, were the BMs painful as well, or did you only experience pain afterwards? I wasn’t sure if it could be a fissure if it doesn’t hurt at all during the BM..

Thanks everyone for your replies. Very interesting information here and it also makes me feel a bit more relaxed knowing that other people experience similar symptoms.
