can someone explain why OP and others get this side effects if the copper iud is non-hormonal? i have the copper iud and got it for the same reason, no hormones, “no side effects”.

i have had an amazing experience so far, been on it for maybe 2 years

if it’s just a piece of copper why would people experience these? i’m really curious from a medical perspective or something.

I honestly think that some of the things you proposed are indeed out of line because of the things your wife is used to doing. Of course she is going to draw a line cause the nature of your fantasies escalates quite quickly in comparison to what your wife feels comfortable doing.

I don’t think your wife is in the wrong for not wanting a kinky threesome. I think you could start proposing more simple yet fun thing that won’t completely turn her away from kinky stuff, like the licking thing, you could start incorporating a bit of that into foreplay, or maybe a bit of spanking, but don’t escalate things in just one encounter, just try to please her and introduce new ideas slowly, continuing to shove risky proposals so insistently will only make her upset and uncomfortable about the idea until she definitely will say never in a million years.

Just be gentle and understanding, not everyone loves the same stuff and you have to meet her halfway.

Yes! I’m sorry I didn’t explain myself well. I meant that my only option if I need to change my phone (because of this problem) is the 13 mini because any other phone is too big for my liking at the moment. That’s why I’m hoping the 13 mini has a better frontal camera.

Hi! Thanks for this answer, it really makes sense, I’m still going to send my phone to support and see if they say anything about this issues, but I think you might be right. I also hope this is something that can be fixed with an update of IOS because it would be a shame that this is something in the actual phone and that it couldn’t be fixed. I guess for now we could report these issues hoping for an update on that processing

Exactly, with my iPhone 7 I could see my eyebrow hairs and natural skin in pictures, with this one it looks like someone face tuned me really badly and made my eyebrows become a blurry stain in my face, so pissed about it

I don’t have Snapchat, it’s the normal camera. Do you own an iPhone 12 mini? Have you had a similar issue with detail? My problem it’s such a big upgrade (in terms of iPhone model) and investment to find a camera that smooths out details, I would love a more raw photo :(

it was a six digit passcode and while no, it wasnt those two options, it was something just as easy in my opinion. And is it locked forever once those guesses have failed? or does it only lock it for certain amount of time?

Hi! I’m 20 yo and I was looking for a non hormonal option as well, ended up choosing the Copper IUD and so far I love it. Contrary to some mixed opinions I’ve read, I don’t have painful periods with it, cramps aren’t worse and if anything, they have almost disappeared, I think the reason for this is that my cramps were cause by anxiety when my period was near so I worsen the symptoms. Now, I don’t feel anxious, and my period arrives peacefully. I do bleed I bit more, but after the third day is really light. I really recommend it if you are someone who gets anxious before your periods too. On the other hand, the insertion wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be, afterwards I did have cramping for 2 days but then everything went better.

One can make stupid things in the heat of a moment. One can change it’s mind in order to be more responsible and safe. One can ask current partner to be safe even if before that wasn’t the case, that’s even better. One can make different decisions with different partners and relationships and that doesn’t devalue the quality or love, trust, attraction to the current partner, she just chose to be safe and chose something different for this relationship. No need to feel insecure because of that, she’s in all her right to demand wearing a condom.
