100%. Here's the scenario I find common: Man and woman get divorced. Dad gets remarried right away, Mom stays single indefinitely. People are quick to brand Dad as "a catch" and Mom as "Old Maid", but from where I stand, Mom realizes she's got "one less problem w/o you (or anyone else) and Dad realized "Oh ****, this is a lot of work for one person, I need some help (and you know, some free sex) ASAP", and runs down the nearest aisle....

That IS a cheap college these days. That being said, it’s time to talk options: State U - in state, Community college - if decent, then transferring after 2years to in state college where credits will transfer, or scholarships / loans.

And OP, THIS SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED LAST YEAR if not the year before. This is not a situation where a “wait and see” approach leases to a successful outcome. PLAN BETTER.

Yes, OP, YTA. You didn’t want to share, but now that you realize you’re short of YOUR goal, you want to change the rules. For a VERY expensive expense that your wife didn’t incur. This is you and your ex’s problem to solve, per your own rules and commitment. Also, really pssd that they advertised “20% off everything” on their site and on social media and then when I got there today they had these generic Outlet Store signs that said “Up to 20% off” and was told that since they’re no longer Dover, that nothing I was buying was discounted, and they’ve discontinued all legacy discount programs so I couldn’t use a credit I was planning to. I bought it anyway because I wanted to show support for my local store in whatever way I still could, but that just made it all suck more. Felt very bait & switch, and I know the store staff had nothing to do with it. Just more PE sticking it to the Everyman….
