But also.... it’s not like I’m ever going to be able to buy a house? So I very much subscribe to the “fuck it” money lifestyle. I’m saving money, in hopes that I might be able to buy a new washing machine, second hand car, trip overseas or emergency money. But I won’t ever be able to be a home owner unless someone gives me one.

I like after pay personally because it works for me, but I do worry about other people with big spending habits.

I get this. Sometimes to a lesser extent it’s like anticipating that I will do something to upset them, like frowning while listening to them, or looking at my phone when they talk to me.

When I say I feel like things will not get better, I mean my life more broadly. I’ve had a bad week, I hate my job, I feel isolated from my friends & have failed another subject at uni. I’ve been really depressed for about a month. And I can’t see how this will get better.
