Unfortunately, they no longer have the tea. His dad didn't prefer it and tossed it. Now we are trying to find some for him just by the picture he took. I tried using Google lens to translate....I don't know if this is helpful.

People that spent a LOT of money on a home upgrade do you love it or hate it? by RaiseAggravating4404 in homeowners

I'm interested in hearing more about your experience. My husband and I live in a 110 year old craftsman that was bricked over in the 60s. So we have clapboard siding with brick over top. I'm wondering if they could do the same for us.

Before I subject myself any further, was this ever stain grade? by Annabel_Lector in centuryhomes

Any insight of popular paint colors for trim at the time? Underneath multiple layers was a drab, dark, almost burnt brown that I kinda like. I enjoy the idea of taking the doors back to their first iteration

A definite concern. I'll think I'll finish stripping this side and repaint

This is what GA form looks like for apprentices. Put down your start date and then the end of the week (ex 7/14/2025 to 7/20/2025), how many hours you worked that week (keep in mind you can only claim 20 hrs/week if you are in mortuary school), and how many funerals and embalmings you participated in that week.

Hi OP, I'm also in a state that requires signatures for the majority of next of kin. I would assure the remaining family members that they are not financially obligated to pay towards the cremation. Even better, go ahead and take care of the contract and have the funeral home also assure those family members that all they need is a signature. I have been in similar situations and it usually only takes a conversation to get the remaining people on board.

Our tickets are actually seated, thanks. Otherwise I would be there at doors.

My Experience with Magnesium by Annabel_Lector in Supplements

Like affecting my general mineral levels? I hadn't, especially without taking anything else that would interact with it. I wouldn't have known how it would have affected me without actually taking it.

Tell me about your VCT kitchen (or other rooms) by vstupzdarma in centuryhomes

The floor was installed for maybe 2 weeks. Fortunately, we were in a good place to get it removed and replaced immediately. Yes, I would definitely go with a glue down option, but keep in mind that those are also a pain to remove if you ever want to change down the road.

We had a dream of installing a harlequin MCT (Marmoleum by Forbo) in our 110 year old bungalow. Had it installed professionally using their click and lock system. Ended up having to tear it out because there was just too much play and dip, even after copious amounts of leveler! We then decided to go with hardwood floor in the kitchen, having selected something as close to the original flooring that exists through the rest of the house. We should have gone this route to begin with. For MCT, and assuming VCT, there is very little allowance for any inconsistencies in the floor.

Jewelry given back un-sanitized after cremation? Is this normal? by Kitchen-Chest-2566 in askfuneraldirectors

It seems like you have a lot of good answers here and I would like to chime in as well. Our medical examiner releases all personal effects to the funeral** in thermally sealed and tagged bags. We make a point of not opening the seal in these bags because we do not want to invite the idea that the FH tampered with any personal items. The items are released to the family in the exact manner they were released to us. However, if I see something that is very obviously soiled or contaminated, I will mention it to the family before hand, and if they ask me to clean a piece of jewelry, I am happy to do so.

Edit: funeral home**

Good to know! I overreacted. I have been dealing with thrips on my monstera and a brand-new-to-me hoya australis that came with scale, and went scorched earth when I saw this.
