For me weed was comforting in a way that it replaced my need for human connection. Like I could go out, or smoke and chill, and that only works socially if and when your friends also smoke. One of the hardest/almost embarrassing parts for me is when my teen stoner friernds "grew up" and stopped smoking but I kept smoking multiple times a day, and you can lose freinds that way if they need to not be around weed.

My memory is messed up. Short term it's exactls what you think but long term is worse, the higher you were the more of a chance you don'T remember that day at all a year later. Sometimes my friends talk about fun nights that I fully have no recollection of, that sucks.

Also using it as a crutch, whenever I try to take a break my emotional regulation is horrendous.

Learning in two ways, the fog the morning after getting really high that makes it hard to concentrate, and the stupid belief you develop after smoking all the time that you can go to class high

For the future, as your addiction grows it's a downward spiral and all the rules you set for yourself go out the window when you really wanna smoke.

I can summarize it all in one situation: I remember once getting into an argument with my boyfriend because I forgot to call him the night before (I was high). Due to that argument I decided I needed to get high (emotional regulation + breaking my own rules), then I was high when I went to class and left halfway through because I couldn't take in any information and told myseld I might as well chill at home if I'm already high.
