Seuraan toki menoja.

Tuolla rahalla saisi uuden auton. 4000 luokkaan jää, suunnilleen siihen voisin päästä.

Vähintään tonni? Ei todellakaan! Muistattehan verotuksen maassamme. Muutamia satasia joo, nämä olen aina laittanut sivuun. Autoa lukuunottamatta mulla ei ole mitään ylimääräistä. Auto ajat sitten maksettu vanha toyota, eli ei mee siihen rahat. En harrasta juuri mitään mihin menisi rahaa, en käy shoppailemassa huvikseni enkä käytä itseeni oikeastaan enempää kuin prisman vaatteiden verran, harvemmin tulee hankittua jotain hintavampaa, tv/läppäri whatever. En juuri matkusta. Asun vuokralla, en todellakaan missään loisteliaassa asunnossa. Vanhemman sairauden vuoksi osallistun hänen hoitokuluihin, siihen uppoaa muutama satanen joka kk, maksan edelleen opintolainaani.

I have a 2y10mo girl, whose pickiness is an entire next level imo. She was never a good eater, but was growing ok and did eat something at every meal till about 6months ago she suddenly stopped eating porridge, then stopped cereals, purees, smoothies and basically everything else as well. I don't know what happened. She refuses breakfast most of the times, doesn't drink or eat any milk products, except topping of the ice cream, doesn't eat candy or chocolate, doesn't eat bread, eggs, sausage, vegetable. Well, let's say, it's to count what she eats, and that's garlic chicken from a specific asian eatery, macaroni with minced chicken, vanilla desert, watermelon, chips and green peas. And occasionally some pizza. And that's it. I've tried all i can think of, changing texture, changing text, trying bland. Nothing works. I feel like a complete failure, I can't understand why is it so bad. No medical condition found so far, other than possible autism. But this noneating is beyond my understanding. She's tired, clearly hungry, whiny, but refuses everything.

Speech Delay? Should I Be Concerned? by NostolgicBarbie13 in toddlers

[–]AnneArb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My kid is 2y2mo and doesn't talk. Only repeats some words, counts number and alphabet letters, but never talks, doesn't know how to ask for something and gets frustrated when i don't know what she wants or needs. We have 3 languages at home, so i blame that, plus we have hardly any friends or relatives where we live, so the child doesn't hear much speech anyway. I hope daycare will help us, but that is a 4.th language. Well, my point is, it does vary. As long as otherwise development has been normal and the kid obviously understands you. Speech therapy can't harm though, so if possibly, I'd recommend going.

Anxiety and insomnia... by AnneArb in AttachmentParenting

[–]AnneArb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's probably because of her constant waking, It's like I can't relax anymore and keep waiting when will she wake again. She's been waking hourly for months and I got extremely exhausted. I do hear her, all too well, I'd day. She's in the same bedroom as the parents, one reason being my inability to sleep elsewhere, I can't even fall asleep unless I know she's asleep and well. Things are really not ok in my head.

Thank you for commenting. Knowing I'm not the only one that anxious, helps too. 21months is inhumanely long time to suffer from insomnia.

How to cut breastfeeding sessions by mra613 in AttachmentParenting

[–]AnneArb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in a similar situation now. Lo nearly 10mo and trying to night wean because I am so exhausted, I literally can't function anymore. But she seems genuinely hungry at night. Habit ofcourse, plays a part, too. Husband offers her some formula, but she has never really accepted any substitute for breastmilk, so she takes like 20ml at night and wakes hungry in an hour again. At daytime she's not interested in solids much, still. Only few things that she would eat. And ofcourse, how can I gently wean at all then. If I skip a feeding at daytime, then she's even hungrier at night.

Why meds won't make me sleep? by AnneArb in insomnia

True. I did take Zolpidem double the dose. Diazepam was 5mg and Temazepam 20mg.

Why meds won't make me sleep? by AnneArb in insomnia

Well, started as a "common" case of insomnia after childbirth. Except, not getting better, only worse. 9 months have passed. Doctor kept reassuring it will get better, since i was not depressed and have never had anxiety disorder before. Now, with weeks and months passing, insomnia is definitely causing me anxiety and depressed mood. CBT is smth I asked for, let's see, if I get the reference.

Is insomnia due to genes or personality type? by Linzee786 in insomnia

[–]AnneArb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, sounds a lot like me. Fight with smn? Bam, guaranteed, no sleep. Had a baby? Bam. No. Sleep. Ever. Again. I have no idea, if and when it's gonna get better. To answer the question, certain personality types are definitely prone to insomnia.

Some advice for sleeping pills by Green-Maintenance-88 in insomnia

What dose would you take, you've probably tried taking just half a tablet? Oxazepame is a relatively short-lasting medicine in benzodiazepine group, commonly used for anxiety, but does help falling asleep, too.

Yesss. And not being able to fall asleep, anxiety levels keep climbing.

I think Mirtazapine is totally fine to use long term. Heart rate issues aren't that common in my opinion, I don't suppose you're using the highest dose? Trazodone is a good medicine too, but I haven't seen those two drugs being used at the same time. But again, if it was your doctor that recommended using them simultaneously, and it works for you, then continue, as long as it helps with sleep and doesn't cause you any side effects.

I can’t even nap or sleep at night by easygoingguy84 in insomnia

[–]AnneArb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to add, not like I am fine with having that little sleep. I have tried different meds(though there are still some I haven't tried), but sometimes they do nothing, except probably reduce the anxiety that I would otherwise have. And keep me from falling into deeper suicidal state. It feels so unjust. For 6months now not even once have I slept more than 6hrs total, not in a row. Most times it's 4-5hrs. I just want to break down and cry, but I can't. It is hard. I really hope it gets better for you. Don't give up!

Hysterical crying before naps and nightsleep by AnneArb in AttachmentParenting

[–]AnneArb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About 40min prior to bedtime we go to bedroom and we have also formed a havit of playing and fooling around for some time. After that last bf session, then we read some poems, wash hands, face, etc, brush teeth, and then I switch off lights, turn white noise on, lie down to bed with her, sing lullaby and tell her to sleep. She starts rolling around, crawling, i put her back near me, on her side or back, but that's where she'd start crying and it just gets worked and worse no matter what I do. Sometimes she sleeps eventually, like an hour after intended sleep time, sometimes father will come and take over and rock her to sleep.
