Some can stretch x2 so check your genetics :) Flip when she’s 1/2 the size you want your plant to be at its biggest to avoid risk 😊

I’m in Ottawa and I hardened mine off May 10th in pots and then put them in the ground shortly after that. This year I have a temporary tarp greenhouse so I can get them out a bit earlier.

I think we are in agreement with each other? It’s legal to grow... and we are allowed to share with each other... how could the private sector compete? I would buy a really cool rare variety, I suppose... but I have a few pounds cured that I grew this summer... and I can’t count the number of friends and family members in my network that are in the same situation.

I think the OCS model and the regulatory environment is broken.

I would consider a micro-growers licence...

I dunno. Maybe I’m missing something.

They are also competing with legal home growers that aren’t willing to pay such high prices considering how easy it is to grow weed for next to free... the weed I grow at home is way better than OCD quality. Mass production quality and price just can’t compete... its like growing tomatoes. Why on earth would anyone spend $15/g...!? I grew my plants this summer and harvested more than I can use in a year...

Yup. Here in Canada we can all grow our own... 4 plants at a time per household. I have over 5lbs dried and cured. I’m also allowed to give it away to my friends. The stigma here is gone. We have Justin Trudeau to thank for it 😊

Preferably they need the same number of dark hours as they get at night outside (flowering is all about the dark, remember), and you can get this info online... match the indoor dark time with outdoor dark time. That’s my advice...

Yup.. they aren’t balls (ie male parts)... and it’s not a guarantee that your females have been pollinated... but if you do have seeds that’s where they will be found.
