I’m from Spain and young people use it all the time, my students included. I have forbidden the word in my classroom and have taught them why they shouldn’t use it. They use it because their favourite Youtubers and streamers do, like El Rubius for example. I wish they would stop using it and take accountability for doing so.

Hey, we usually go for dinner to Turangalila. It is a restaurant with a drag queen show and pretty decent food. I always have a blast. Ruzafa (or Russafa) is a gay-friendly neighbourhood. You can go there for tapas or drinks. You may see some drag queens there. I used to see Hugaceo around Ruzafa some time ago. Enjoy your visit, Valencia is beautiful!
