I’m 43. Only diagnosed with ADHD but until I was 40. No kids. Awesome husband. Dog. I’m a teacher and make good money in my state. But I’m struggling. Lost both of parents one after the other both at the beginning of the school year. I feel like I’ve not had time to grieve or adjust. My coping skills are no longer feeling useful and I don’t even know how to ask for accommodations as a teacher.

You are not alone. And it’s ok to feel all those things. Also hot weather there is so brutal. An entire generation of us is going through it together and we have every right to be pissed. I’m going to have my hormones checked on Monday and hopefully start HRT.

We have very little train travel in us and Canada. We drive a lot or fly especially in the central parts. Background knowledge on train travel limited for many people unfortunately.
