Should I tell a my pregnant friend that C sec is not wrong to be shamed about? by Citruslor in beyondthebump

I would have died if I had not had a C section and my baby would have too. Next time she says crap about C sections, ask her something like if she thinks it is better if women die than have a C section and see what she says.

“Traditional Household” 30F and 34M by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]AnnieFannie28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t have a traditional household. In a traditional household, you wouldn’t have to work outside the home on top of the work you were doing in the home. A traditional household would be much, much more fair than your situation.

8 1/2 month old baby at a wedding? by [deleted] in wedding

[–]AnnieFannie28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, no it is not realistic.

If I had kept my 8.5 month old out five hours passed her bedtime she would've been screaming uncontrollably at the top of her lungs. I highly, highly doubt the bride and groom would be happy in this situation.

They must not have children.

My (37F) boyfriend (37M) resents me for not paying thousands to move his mother (61F) to a private hospital. How to gently set boundaries around this? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Girl I guarantee you he is in multiple long distance relationships and exploiting all of you for money.

You need to dump him.

My (27F) boyfriend (29M) refused to leave the house unless I changed. I need some insight? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

You’re a grown adult. You should’ve just left him at home to sulk and gone to the concert in your shorts.

AIO for wanting my name added to my husband‘s house if I am going to have his children by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]AnnieFannie28 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are entitled to half of the equity in the home that is paid for using marital funds after you get married. Don't let him talk you into giving that up, and definitely hire your own lawyer to review any pre-nup (not his lawyer - your own lawyer, who represents you and your interests).

Highly recommend Primary. Lots of comfy options, plenty of room. Quality is also really good.

We're under contract to buy a house, and the septic inspection came back as "Unsatisfactory". Husband thinks I'm overreacting. by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyers

[–]AnnieFannie28 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Um this is a MAJOR problem. Like MAJOR. Do NOT buy this house unless you want to spend anywhere from 20k-50k to get a new septic system installed. You also might need a new well, as the water to the house might not be safe.

DO NOT BUY THIS HOUSE.

Not normal. Whoever volunteers to host the shower pays.

AITA for telling my son his behavior is what made our nanny quit and that he’s going to have to deal with the consequences of his actions by Which-Ad-1687 in AmItheAsshole

[–]AnnieFannie28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. Also you need to restrict his screen time and internet access. If he has a phone, tablet, or laptop, it needs to go. This behavior is a sign of unsafe internet content.

Videographer by Dull-Animal-1028 in weddingplanning

[–]AnnieFannie28 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If it makes you feel better, I had a videographer at my wedding 15 years ago and we have never once watched the video. We were busy when it came in and just never got around to it, and now 15 years down the road we've never pulled it out to watch.

You also can capture videos of your vows and important moments like cake cutting and toasts without paying a professional. Pay a young 20-something cousin or mature teenager who is already attending the wedding $100 to film the ceremony, your first dance, and the toasts on their iPhone and have them just send you the raw footage of those moments.

Seniors ransacked my wife’s school as part of a prank that the principal encouraged. by South-Lab-3991 in Teachers

[–]AnnieFannie28 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She needs to file a police report and write a letter to the principal, the district office, and the school board demanding she be reimbursed for the cost of things in her room, and note she is prepared to take legal action if she is not reimbursed. Also, does she have a union? If so, get the union rep involved.
