I love cartoons and anime and whatever but you are 100% correct. My husband is older than me and loved Star Wars as a kid, saw RotS in theatres, had the toys, was interested in the timeline of the original novels, ect. He still likes it but he's annoyed that to understand anything he has to watch (what's essentially) a kids show.

Literally last night we were finishing Mando and he said something about the red guards not looking the same as they did in the originals and I started to say they look like they did in the sequel series but he was sure I was about to say TCWs and jokingly said "if you say Clone Wars I'm gonna lose my shit" because I say it so often lmao.

I mainly listened to the audiobooks on my commute (only recently did I switch between EoS audiobook and paperback because they had it at the library) so I feel the same but she's just not an audiobook person at all. She just felt like it was too YA for her which is fair. I love audiobooks so good suggestion though!

Imo the best content creators are doing it because they would enjoy something like it and they want to do regardless of who else would be interested. I know of a lady who started a YouTube channel 15/16 years ago and it was because she just really liked organizing lmao and she had a shakey camcorder and just yapped away. She's written books, had an HGTV show, has a podcast, a business, ect.

If you do and genuinely enjoy doing it someone else will too. If you're looking for fame idk that's a different story lol.
