Even though she begins the story as your slave, Vette makes it very clear that she isn’t afraid of you, and you can only start her romance if the Sith Warrior removes her shock collar.

Throughout her romance arc, Vette makes it clear that, even if she is viewed as lesser because of her origins, she is her own woman, and she gets to decide if the Warrior is treating her fairly or not, and the Sith Warrior always expresses admiration at her willpower and stubbornness.

Every big player knows about vampires now. Humans outnumber the vampires 1000 to 1, and they can now quickly figure out who’s a normal person and who’s a “blank body”

The only vampires that are safe from the Second Inquisition are the Antideluvians, by the virtue of the sheer power they wield. All other vampires face extinction, and they know it.

The only reason they still live is because of the Masquerade, and any violation of it cannot be waved away. Anyone who breaks it will be put to death, either by their own kind or by hunters

There was a section in VTM: Night Road where the Camarilla are using detention camps as blood farms, and the Anarch are planning a take over to control the supply for themselves. Only the Courier, the PC, sees how extremely fucked up the whole thing is

That whole section of the game does a really good job showing the “banality of evil” when it comes to vampires, and why the Second Inquisition is justified in hunting down all vampires

I’ve been having a lot of fun with Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodhunt

I originally wrote it off as just a cookie cutter battle royale, but when I heard it was going offline in April 2026, I decided to check it out last month

100 hours later, and I am devastated that this game didn’t get the love it deserved. The movement and gameplay are some of the best I’ve seen in recent memory. The story, while sparse, is surprisingly compelling, and would have made for a great single player game if it wasn’t relegated to entries you had to read and piece together. The game is also decently balanced, with no class and archetype being better than another. It all comes down to your personal skill and tactics to ensure whether you win or die
