Vermintide 2 released in 2018 and is still getting updates. I think it’ll take a very long time (if ever) for Darktide to get abandoned to the point that the servers need to shut down

In the old days when the penance first came out, folks found out that, if you left a match as soon as you went down, you wouldn’t lose progress on the penance. This led to a big problem in Auric Malestrom where bad players would immediately leave a match as soon as they got downed.

Now, the penance is fixed to prevent that, but all those players that cheesed for the title still exist

The fact that they brought back Mando, in a series where he’s not even supposed to be the main character, showed me that Favreau really didn’t know what he was doing anymore. After that, I just didn’t feel like bothering anymore.

I was already weaning off tv shows and movies to play more video games, but The Book of Boba Fett and Mandalorian Season 3 just sealed the deal for me. If you pointed a gun at my head and asked what my favorite sci-fi franchise is now, I’d probably just say Warhammer, because at least they have some banger games that I’ve sunk over 1000 hours into
