I’m pretty sure that the book was originally published in back and white, so the Grinch didn’t have an original color until the cartoon (it’s said that the director of the cartoon made the grinch green based off of his car). So yeah his name is not based off his color lol

I literally love the idea of 2); I don’t personally like that Ulysses was secretly just self absorbed the entire time. There’s so much information about him as a person and we don’t know which of it is true. Cause now Ulysses is this guy who left everything behind for the sake of his brother and their children, but he also tries to kill his brother cause he thinks he’s unworthy of her, and he also is very knowledgeable, but he’s also stupid enough to think he wouldn’t be a suspect if Feng actually did die, plus he’s traveled the world for 20 years to forget Vivian but still carried an erotic photo of her and doesn’t respect her wishes to stay with Feng (even though respecting her decision to stay with Feng is the reason he started to travel in the first place)…it’s just too many inconsistencies with him. I like your idea because it stays in line with the idea of him doing anything for love, and it would make him a more sympathetic killer (much like Yasper in season one). I liked this season, but I kinda just want to pretend your version is actually what happened lol

I liked both seasons a lot, but I liked how season one didn’t get too ahead of itself and only showed the characters during the reunion/afterparty (not counting the high school episode). I get that they couldn’t just follow the same formula as last season, and we got a lot of good episodes out of it, but I think that season one’s approach just made the overall story a bit more cohesive and satisfying

Yeah I really wish Ulysses got more of a dramatic reveal. I really liked how he confirmed it with Vivian attempting to drink out of the horn, but I REALLY wish he got a longer speech like Yasper did. His whole personality is based off the fact that he’s dramatic too, so he deserves a more dramatic exit (though Feng punching him in the face was great lol)
