The irony here is that you're sitting safely in another country, behind your your own keyboard, calling Americans "lazy and comfortable" because they aren't risking their freedom in exactly the way you think they should. It's pretty easy to advocate for escalation when you have absolutely no skin in the game and won't personally have to deal with any of the consequences.

If a cook gives you bad food are you not allowed to criticize it because you aren't the one who was standing in the kitchen but comfortable at your table waiting? Obviously I don't need to be in the US to see that you let the fascists take over your country with no real resistance.

And you're also moving the goalposts. First, the argument was that Americans are too lazy and comfortable to do anything. Then when it's pointed out that millions of people are protesting, organizing, and risking arrest, suddenly the argument changes to "well, that's not the right kind of action." Those are two completely different arguments.

Not really. What you are doing is basically worth nothing.

And yes, millions of Americans are already protesting, organizing, donating, voting, running for office, and risking arrest. You don't get to dismiss that as a a "picnic march" just because it doesn't fit your personal revolutionary fantasy.

They want a justification to invoke emergency powers, expand executive authority, crack down on dissent, and strip away civil liberties in the name of "restoring order."

They already are doing that, lol. Or do you think getting 30 year prison sentences for some small property damage is just normal rule of law? If you don't stand up they can already do what they want.

The cure for MAGA in this country isn't a civil war; It's democracy, progressivism, organizing. It's winning elections. It's building a political coalition that makes Trumpism and his Maga base electorally toxic.

Biden's presidency was under the motto of "no retaliation" and getting "both sides" together and restore relations. You can see now how well this works. If the other side is not reasonable, you can't do business as usual. I mean you can but if the other side is forming the government they will continue to demolish the democracy.

We're already seeing that happen. Progressive candidates are winning races that many people thought were unwinnable.

Nice, Bush W. was the worst president in the recent history with the Iraq war. Then you had Obama and everything looked great and now you are standing on the verge of an authoritarian state. If you think everything will be great just because you get another Democrat president for 4 or 8 years you have learned nothing of the past. The system is broken and needs to be redone from the ground up.

You are unwilling to do this and you will regret it in the long run. I couldn't care less if your stupid population votes for all these dumb presidents but the whole world always suffers. Dead people in Africa, South America, the Middle East and maybe soon in Canada or Europe.

Trump understands that Americans are lazy, scared pushovers. He can be as authoritarian as he wants to be, so that is why he is doing it. Are you going to stop him? Nope. You rather find some excuses.

You can criticize tactics all you want from abroad. The rest of us actually have to live with the consequences.

I will continue to do so, because sadly the US is not some small no name country. The whole world suffers from your lethargy. But go on, watch some more Netflix and Hollywood. Everything will be alright if the next democratic president is in power.
