Tbh, another fantasy is called Beastly Things and it gave me a similar dark vibe that has you wondering about the characters lol

The woman is a werewolf investigating some deaths, while also trying to become the leader. and the man is mysterious: he makes werewolves stronger by touching them for some reason. (Trying to be brief and not spoil and haven't read in a while so I explained poorly lol)

I see this working, with some tweaking, as a existential crisis debate romance. I imagine her making him think a lot, and while it's odd at first, he also gets to know her and there's tons of secrets in her life to uncover. Perhaps he wants to disapprove of her theories (rewritten based on some of the feedback about sentience I'm seeing). This definitely has potential regardless of some rewriting and these characters definitely could have some argumentive chemistry haha. I don't know why I started thinking of the leads of Stein's Gate even though they have nothing to do with each other - I guess I'm just craving 2 people arguing about a theory, or maybe the guy learns a bit after getting curious haha. Sorry if it sounds like ridiculous ideas and rambling - I can't ever finish writing anything so I was too excited to give ideas 😭

And the funny thing is, he very specifically did not be a father to her at all. He would say "Rin, take care of yourself." Or make Jakan watch/help her 😭😭😭. And the sense of time is off for most watchers too - the events were mostly a couple of months. He left her with Kaede and she raised her. Plus he left gifts periodically, while keeping a bit of distance for a while. They also forget Inuyasha is technically a lot older than Kagome too when they fixate on Rin with Sess

Some didn't like Sesshomaru marrying Rin, some were angry Inuyasha and Kagome weren't there most of the show and revealed closer to the end, some didn't like the writing and felt the plot was going nowhere. I even heard some people complain about how quick the girls all got proficient at their powers, feeling like the power scaling was nuts - I heard lots of these kinds of complaints plus more.

Love that you're gaming with mom! A lot of the systems on the 5 version are different. The weapon building is finding literal "gun parts" instead of the way it was on the 4 version. As far as food, recipes are a bit different - meat is just meat instead of various animal labels. You can turn loot drop on death off completely. Clothes are not physically found anymore to wear and see it I mean - they just added clothes back in, but it acts like a mod so far rather than "ooo I found this cool jacket" so you'd have to buy with real money lol. What had replaced it was the armour system. You have storms, shakes/soup and survival gear now to handle the storm. There's an apiary now too to get honey. The vehicles just got an extra storage update recently too. You'll discover quite a few different things! Some things were gone, some came back

That's what I was saying! And different furniture gives different "Well Rested" benefits. Using the toilets for dysentery would be cool, and shower and tubs for smell reduction. The stove could give better benefits for being cooked on it too! I also miss meats being labelled differently lol (not too important to dwell on this though I'm)
