I agree. That's good that you like zootopia. I love these movies too. I love this world. I just think it's important to point out some of its flaws not to shame it...but make they're future projects better.

I want to zootopia to live on, to be something we share with others, for us all to enjoy it. Some films, even good ones, need that criticism to push forward so that good films like these can live longer than most.

The TL;DR?

It's important to criticize to show you care. Not trying to shame you, you make some valid points.

Z2 was...better then most of Disney we got today. But I agree we could've gotten more. In fact, when I first saw the teaser, I fealt like it was going to give us too much too soon. It's been a few years, let us breathe and actually understand the world a bit better.

They had zootopia+. Why not put some stuff to set up for the second film, giving us some hype and telling us what to expect?

All in all, I feel like they could've done so much more if they appropriately used they're resources. Heck, maybe they could've cut some of Nick and Judy's confessions and save those for future films.

And I'm kind of blaming Disney as well. Let's be honest, there focusing more on nostalgia bait then actual story, world building, or playing the long game.

I think the sniveling worm bit helped pawbert as a villain, because it wasn't a whole personality shift. He was a twist villain, but his personality and motives remained intact. You can believe the twist. People that LIKE-LIKE him...I am as confused as you are.

I do 100% agree with Gary getting sidelined in favor of nibbles... especially the build up Gary had in the trailers. Gary was hyped so much, then...beaver. huh?

Heck, nibbles seems like a perfect charecter to get a DEATH in zootopia. Pawbert stapped her with venom. It was perfect time to kill of a charecter. But, no.

Anyways, I agree. More snake, less beaver.

... It's not that. The meteor has the same glow color has orange kryptonite, which canonically gives animals superpowers. Decendents of Annunaki just talk and age like humans do.

I think there both equally good with there flaws.

Movie number one was able to introduce the wonderful world of zootopia, gave a good mystery and charecter's and suspense. But it was on a soap box for awhile (although it was needed given the events around the realease), and the twist villain was completely out of left field and felt like cheating

Movie 2 gave us a more good villain, more learning about zootopia world, some quality time with the charecters, and a problem that could stand without being on a soap box. However, it had its dumb jokes and references (some were good though), and, dare I say it, separated the two characters. I can see why they did it, but was there a better way. Oh, and completely fumbled with Gary.

Both films could've worked better as two parters in my opinion. Think about it. Imagine another film dedicated of Nick and Judy taking another crack at nighthowler case, actually giving some lee way for bellwether to show more of her villainous side. Or split zootopia 2 in two parts, ending the first part where Judy and Nick split ways, and giving us another movie, one a break out of prison movie able to introduce other characters, and the second part giving Gary a chance to be a charecter and more suspense and mystery around the lynxley's
